Considering the absolute dogshit I've been reading in the particular lit course I'm doing, Oscar Wao was the best one. I enjoyed the narration, I think it did a good job of painting everyone as equally despicable.
I don't know if I liked the book, but I guess I tolerate it. I usually never finish a book I don't at least find interesting.

Like most things, it's not as bad as /lit/ claims but also is not as good as Hipsters claim. Just read it, it's quiet short and Vonnegut's prose is known for it's simplicity. You can finish it in an evening.
