I've been so confused lately.
I've always loved androgyny and embraced my femininity, but I only began questioning myself recently. I bought a couple of dresses + lipstick about a month ago. I initially only thought it was fun to feel pretty, but after the second or so time"dressing up" in my room, I started wanting to stay pretty. I don't like looking in the mirror and seeing a guy dressed as a girl. I want to actually look like a cute girl. I tried a couple of those face recognition sites. It made me so happy when the site identified me as a female and saddened me when it identified me as male. I went on omegle in a dress (+ convenient lightning) and when people assumed i was a cis girl, it gave me a wonderful feeling in my heart.
I didn't grow up hating the fact that I'm a male, although I did distance myself from the idea of being manly or macho as I reached my teens.
I don't know how much of what I'm feeling is gender dysphoria and how much it is body dysphoria.
Even before this, I've hated hated hated my legs for not being as slim as girls' legs. I also cannot stand my cheeks.

The problem I have is that I didn't grow up feeling confused with my gender. This is all very recent. I was a fairly normal kid. I was happy being a boy. As I got older, I began to embrace my feminine side. I was obsessed with glam metal in middle school (which makes sense now).
Is it possible to not "discover" your gender identity? It was only a year ago when I realized I was bi. It was obvious to everyone but me. I was obviously attracted to the dudes in glam metal bands in middle school. I wanted to look like them.
