I very much doubt that repression amounts to any kind of healthy or long-term sustainable way to deal with this problem, and the guy in these threads seems pretty mental (if he's not joking). Perhaps this stuff would be helpful for some of you.
Under the TWT model, repressers are the other side of the coin of transitioners. It's a "fight" response" compared to a "freeze/surrender" response. Neither way actually deals with the underlying schema that contributes to the problem. In fact, suppressing aspects of your self may cause other problems, eventually even leading you to "flip" and embrace that side of yourself (presumably, this is what happens to many hons when they get to a certain age and can no longer bear it).
The solution is therefore to understand the causes of your particular gender issues and to work on relaxing and deconstructing the beliefs and feelings that you can change, and resolving past trauma that may contribute. For example, if you have rigid beliefs about gender that "men = bad, women = good" (a schema) then you must work on letting go of this false belief over time.
I don't know if the author's ideas are ultimately correct or effective, but I would highly reccomend reading through this website if you are serious about detransition or repression, I think it's highly promising and is hands down the most helpful and thoughtful resource i've found on this topic.
