Funny part is he will then turn around and complain about...problems with getting a lot of attention lol. He talks about getting 100-200+ new Kik messages a day, but then made and keeps his Kik public. You have to try and understand the concurrent mindset of a person like that - I mean really try to grab some of the conflicted shit that must go through his head and wonder on what this must look like from his point of view. It's very easy for someone on the outside to look and judge, but like a lot of people: we don't often see our own self-inflicted stigma because we're deep in it.
I think Robin is brave in a lot of ways for discarding what life expected out of him and pursuing something (no matter what it was) that he truly wanted regardless of the cost. And knowing he will likely read this thread (what egotist doesn't?) I don't think this sentiment will come as any surprise from me. Did he hurt others (hiding this from the GF, etc) in doing it? Maybe - but at the least he came to the point of reconciliation before crossing the last threshold. Better late than never.
Robin's in a tough spot in terms of interpersonal relationships. Plenty of fawning sycophants out there who will tell him (and people like him) whatever he wants to hear to get close to someone or something they may not be capable of understanding. Far fewer who will offer objective criticism, disagree, or challenge him. In a position such as his, it's way too easy to put yourself in a comfortable echo chamber of people who do nothing but praise you for superficial reasons. Question still remains whether or not he will choose to do this going forward.
