when we were first talking about it i was sort of just like 'ya tru' but thinking about it more now it actually makes a lot of sense. like i had the deepest voice ever at one point but because i was wearing makeup and women's clothes and looked ok to those around me i've never really been misgendered by ...anyone. and maybe that's also why a lot of girls who "try harder" will get gendered female even if they aren't flawless looking most of the time because unless they're around someone bigoted who is consciously trying to be like 'UR A MAN', if the presentation appears female enough, they're gonna stick to one pronoun....which i guess does mean that people judge you based on the way you look and present yourself, but i'd rather think that even if that's tru it's not the only thing that matters....

In my case it was definitely that I just got to the point where I didn't care, probably because the sex drive stops being the same. (Not that it goes away exactly, it just changes.) If you want to keep it functional you need to keep using it regularly, otherwise it'll probably shrink and lose some functionality if you only use it when you feel like it. Which is fine for some people, of course, it just depends what you want.
