I like LGBT-themed movies and I'm always looking for more. So tell me guys, what are some good LGBT movies and documentaries? Which ones would you rec? Which ones should we stay away from?
K, I'll start then
>Good movies/docs about the LGBT community
-Paris is Burning (1990)
-Pride (2014)
-Milk (2008)
-The Times of Harvey Milk (1984)
-Stonewall (1995)
Some of these might not be entirely inclusive, so feel free to add more to the list

City of Borders is great if you can find it
Gay Niggers from Outer Space
of what's decent quality and accurate, it's all just porn.
>Trans Drama
-My Life In Pink (1997)
-Breakfast In Pluto (2005)
-Tomboy (2011)
-Transamerica (2005)
-Laurence Anyways (2012)
-A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story (2006)
Weekend and In the Grayscale are fine.
Laurence Anyways is pretty good.

I thought Weekend was hmmkay.
>Grayscale
Never heard about this one. Chilean, isn't it? I was looking for some latin american lgbt flicks a while ago, thanks anon!
Pic related is very good, not your typical gay movie
But I'm a Cheerleader is a classic. a solid 8/10
ive found the "Eating Out" franchise to produce some of the most brutally honest and disillusioningly accurate depiction of the gay lifestyle
XXY (2007)
Based movie about a transgender teenage girl.

Wasn't she intersex?
What about a good movie about an ftm? Not Boys Don't Cry, please. That really messed with my head. I'm ftm myself and been on hrt for almost a year now.

Watch mtf movies backward
Not seriously i don't know any, doesn't seem to be many
>>5671201
Yeah...there's so many mtf movies yet so few ftm. It's a tad disheartening. I feel a bit alone.
I know some people weren't a big fan of it, but I adored The Danish Girl.
Also, pic related is fantastic.

You can try Vergine Giurata. The main character isn't a typical western ftm but it does have that transgender vibe
How about Pink Flamingos by John Waters?

I can almost guarantee you're not.
It's just that you're wrong.
I just watched Tangerine the other day. It was surprisingly good, though a little rough around the edges.
