All I remember of it is the amount of butthurt because of this:

>The patrol comes under fire and a soldier is hit. In the ensuing chaos the Taliban position is discovered to be directly in front of the patrol in a ditch only three metres away. A hand grenade is tossed into the ditch followed by the order to 'neutralize them' and subsequent sporadic gunfire is heard. Five Taliban are killed and there are graphic scenes of their bodies being pulled from the ditch and stripped of their weapons.

Butthurt leftists coming in:
>The film generated a brief political controversy in Denmark when the Danish Socialist People's Party accused the soldiers of deliberately breaking the rules of engagement during one of the firefights, and demanded an investigation.[7] Following procedure, the Danish military Legal Corps conducted an independent investigation, and the soldiers were cleared of any wrongdoing.[8]

It always amazes me that "killing the guy that just tried to kill me" can be taken as a war crime by some people.
A lot of people here in Norway got their panties in a bunch when they realized that we didn't just drive around the country giving candy and footballs to the kids, but actually had to kill the enemy in firefights.

>Restrepo
US army aimlessly paces around trashcanistan and die like flies, everyone is miserable and few if any Kebab is remove.

>Armadillo
Danes have a fun time fucking around in trashcanistan, many Kebab is remove.

Armadillo is clearly superior.

I liked it. Especially when the commander came back after eating an IED, I got the feels.
>>
>>29204549
the investigation was based on one of the soldiers bragging about the event in an over exaggerated way that implied that neutralized enemies were executed.

Same shit everywhere, civi's don't really understand warfare.
What they see as 'excessive force', we just see as doing our job fucking people's shit up.

The worst thing is when the Danish investigation units calls the soldiers and say "could you go back out to the compund and pick upnsome shrapnel and tale som pictueres so we can get this case going"

I think it was really good. Sweden also had a similar-ish documentary about their stuff in Afghanistan. Armadillo is way fucking more hardcore though, as it's almost entirely combat footage from the soldiers.
Either way I enjoyed this one too, it's got english subs if anyone's interested.

Being Swedish state TV it has a pretty a somewhat leftist tone now and then, but I guess that's to be expected.
