Yea 22lr is no big deal if you have built up your tolerance to bullets. Takes a while to ramp up training to take multiple rounds of .22lr to the chest but I have gotten to the point where I can take three 9mm and walk it off.
I suggest you start easy with just one round of 22lr to the arm and work your way up from there.
