I'm finding it a bit difficult to get every detail, but from what I understand there's been a bit of a dispute between the CUPW (Canadian Union of Postal Workers) and Canada Post over various labour issues as of late, so for the past couple of months both sides have had appointed conciliators going under negotiations to see if they can't get things settled.
However, it's been taking forever and nobody can come to a solid agreement, so if there isn't a definitive solution by July, then there's more than likely going to be lockouts and strikes all over the place until something concrete actually comes up.
