I couldn't find any bad dirt on them so I picked up this one today, shot 100 Wolf, 100 Tula and 200 Fed XM193 and it had no trouble with any of it. With the gas setting on "suppressed" and XM193, it was the softest shooting 5.56 I've fired.
It definitely doesn't like PMAGs which I knew. Essentially, when I push the mag into the gun, bolt open or closed, it will not seat without a near-violent strike to the baseplate. The lancer it came with is great and, in my opinion, a better magazine anyway and that's what I'll buy from now on.

I think the hammer pin is in the right place, checked it with a digital caliper before I cut the pocket. I did have to trim some aluminum off the front of the pocket and polish the round bit at the bottom of the hammer to make it work consistently. I don't think that is an issue but I'm a pretty huge noob.

Those are fair. I would let you shoot mine if you haven't before so you could pass judgement on the quad rail for yourself though. It isn't nearly as bad to handle as pictures would lead you to believe. I also have ogre hands so that may be a personal thing but it's completely free of flesh-snags. It's very comfortable and doesn't tear my hands up in the least.
I paid $1632 monopoly dollars for mine at my LGS and $168 for Troy micro sights so I'm in it exactly $1800 and pennies. I'm not mad at that. I realize I could build 3 or buy 2 for that money but there are a lot of features I enjoy having from the factory.

I have built 2 Adams Arms retro fit piston guns and couldn't be happier. I can't justify going with POF and these days I can barely justify using a "piston ar" as they just add "complications" to the build. I don't understand the issue everyone had with them but I like being left the fuck alone when I go to the range and don't need the RO to yell at people that muzzle sweep for me.
I guess a lot of people on facebook and such were crying that they did not have a boot on their neck at the range keeping them safe from each other.
The old ROs got on peoples cases when they were sweeping and occasionally for not doing anything dangerous but potentially harmful.
The new ROs are overbearing and NJ guy is registering people even after FWC announced that they were going to stop and calls the cops if you refuse.
We were talking with him and he kept going on about how it is in NJ and that the things people do down here would not fly where he comes from as if I am supposed to give a fuck how the peoples republic of new jersey handles firearms.
NJ is the california of the east coast and the transplants are just as bad.

There was an article posted in some local paper about how the FWC was supposedly going to stop it after finding out it was not within their rights.
NJ claims he needs everyones names so that he can tell the state how many people come shooting every year, and will go off on a tangent about how you have to sign in at private ranges and will begin muttering about new jersey and Florida being such a liberal state.

Idiots had been getting yelled at by ROs and the public.
I did something pretty dumb during a cold range(I did not put anybody in danger but I broke a rule) and got the whole line yelling at me.
The whole reason I like cecil so much was that for the most part I could just drive in setup shoot and leave without having to deal with shitty ROs or gun store employees.
There were some people that needed yelled at and they got yelled at, firing 5 guys that did their jobs and let the public be for the most part to replace them with 3 fatbodies that can't cross the range without a golf cart and pester everyone 24/7 as the head fatbody illegally registers everyone was not a good decision.
Also I think some of the ROs may have been fired for the brass scandal.

The FWC was supposed to sort the brass from the steel casings and sell it then donate the money to charity.
The FWC guy above the ROS had at least one of them sorting brass as part of his job for this purpose.
The RO got lead poisoning and found out that the FWC guy had been pocketing the money with his buddies.
