-Maintenance on Apr 1 will add Ooshio Kai 2, revamp Hayasui's Offshore Resupply ability, and reveal Android lottery results for 100k slots.
-Coming of Spring seasonal voice lines will be added. Gyuudon sprites will be removed.
-Daihatsu Landing Craft (T89 Medium Tank & Landing Force) and Special Type 2 Amphibious Landing Craft (Ka-Mi) have been implemented.
-Both provide bonus damage against installations. T89 adds 2% and Ka-Mi adds 1% to expedition gains, affected by the 20% bonus cap.
-You can upgrade normal daihatsu to T89, then to Ka-Mi. Improving them gives a small bonus to expedition gains, unaffected by the 20% cap.
-Submarines equipped with a Ka-Mi can attack installations in the shelling phase.
-Akitsushima and Hayasui can now equip daihatsu at Kai.
-Hatsuzuki can now improve Type 94 AA Director and 10cm+AA Director.
-A 6-3 quest which rewards a daihatsu has been added.
-Kawakaze will get Kai 2 this spring, followed by an Asashio-class DD.
-Zara's sister Pola's voice lines are ready.
-The Spring 2016 Event's theme will be "Total War". Iowa, who first appeared in the PS Vita game, will be an event reward.
-Kamikaze-class DDs are planned to be added.
-Player-owned installations, land-based aircraft and their pilots are being planned. Mitsubishi G4M will be one such aircraft.

I don't know why this map hates me but I used to have an easier time with it with ships with half the levels and 0 upgraded equip than I do now. I just finished a run where all but one of my sanshiki's were put into taiha during the day, and the 5th left the boss with 32 HP. In the context of the game, it probably means that all the various mechanics will come into play during the event. Installations, SS nodes and bosses, light fleets, all 3 types of CFs, shiplocking, historical routing, air nodes, debuff mechanics, quest gating, fleet-dependent starting nodes, etc.
I don't expect them to bring back gauge regen, though. Don't think anybody cared for that.

Armor regen is effectively the same thing and arguably worse. Gauge regen can't put you in a state where the boss is one sortie from dying but magically toughens up at the stroke of midnight and forces you through several hours of debuffing again. It also requires a lot more experimentation to figure out.

Eh, she's not that bad, all things considered. Her K2 design is nice, she has above average stats and she can at least provide and equip a daihatsu. Even without her opening torpedo she'd still be used, though obviously less often. Her only downside is her that voice is annoying to most but then again many players play muted anyway so that's not really a big deal.
