The reason Edge and Negai were great album mixes were because they sounded like an actual, good and natural extension of the song. Glitter and Laser Beam's album mixes sounded awful, like Nakata didn't give a single shit and lazily slapped some shitty unnecessary effects and sounds onto songs that didn't need them. It mostly sounded jarring. MoL and SoL's album mixes are a little better in my opinion but still lazy versions of songs that sounded better without the extra editing. MoL's album mix was worse than SoL in my opinion because it took away some of that general bright, fun, simple feeling of the original.
Nakata's throwing a shit-ton of album mixes on Cosmic Explorer probably in an attempt to have some sort of cohesive sound but I can't see it working out well, knowing how he's been doing album mixes lately.

Because it does sound so much like LEVEL3 leftovers I'm worried how much Nakata will change it though. Sure, it's a little slow to start in my opinion and has a tired-sounding pre-chorus, but I still wouldn't change a thing about it. People are mad about no Koi Wa and at first I thought it sounded like it might sound jarring against the other singles and songs, but then again he put RITC and HYH and Star Train on there so I don't think that's really the case. An album mix of Cling Cling will probably be awful, since the song already has a nice instrumental, though it's cluttered. What more can he do? There's a lot going on in the song already.
I didn't like Tokimeki Lights at first, I thought it slowed the energy a bit too much for the verses on the first few listens. I'm hopeful the album mix will just tweak a few things that I disliked, like how the vocals feel a tad bit overpowered at times. Maybe he'll just add some cute little things and not ruin it. I already really like the JPN-era vibe it gives off.
Star Train I don't give a shit about, even if the album mix is better I'll probably end up wanting to skip it anyway.
I'm really just looking forward to the new songs on the album and indifferent to the album mixes because it's impossible to have high hopes for those anyway.

desu the reason one room disco is so high is because I love 23:30 so much. one room disco is a pretty good party starter too. it's one of those songs you never skip on your phone but never one you crave to listen to.
I think its a great single mostly for its B side. same as for mirai. mirai no museum is a decent song I rarely skip it because it has a very cute sound but I never seek it out, mean while daijoubanai is a masterpiece.
fushizen na girl is actually my favorite perfume song but it's low on the list as I don't like natty ni koishite. it's too popish.
when ever perfume tries to go full pop they usually come off as generic at least then they go full kyary mode it sounds alright despite me disliking kyarys sound.
Nee is a little better as it has a great instrumental despite the very weak verses.
laser beam gets too much hate, i think possibly because the vocals are too Britteny spears'y or some shit. I still think the instrumental carries it and as a performance it is god tier because of the choro and light show. not to mention kasuka na kaori is one of their best slow songs on their discography.

23:30 is SO good and so overlooked, it upsets me. I remember during WT3 people were thinking of songs to sing to Perfume after the encore and when 23:30 was suggested people were like "we don't even know if Perfume would recognize the song in time."
I really loved Natural ni Koishite when it came out but nowadays listening to it sounds boring because it is so pop-ish.

I do like the part were they are singing "ohh oh uh oh" and everyone is clapping. I also do actually like the chorus too. but I think it stretches out while I believe with story each minute has a feeling and a meaning and the chorus is the pay off. it does fall short after the chorus but over all I like it.still no edge
