How many members of the 48 groups can you easily spot/recognize without the help of a name attached to them?
I'm very green when it comes to the 48 groups in general and only got into them about 2 months ago.
I can recognize 20 or so (obviously the popular ones) and remember certain names but can never attach a face to them or vice versa.
I also have a problem of recognizing members when they change there hair style. Is this normal or am I terrible?

I also went to the SKE cafe, which is much smaller than the AKB one. I expected it to be bigger, but the shop and the cafe is as big as the cafe of AKB.
Before I went inside, there was only me and two others in line to get in. Afterwards, this line formed. Definitely seems like getting there before 4 or 5 PM on any day is recommended.

I recognize just about all of AKB's main 4 teams past and present. Team 8 is giving me trouble though and I never cared to legit get into the sister groups so I only recognize the more visible members.
If you want to learn the members then watch the LODs and pay attention to their self-introductions. Even if you don't understand you can start to attach names to faces and voices.

I've been into the 48G for 8 years or so. In 2012 I knew all AKB and SKE members. I never got to know more than half of SDN, NMB, HKT or Nogizaka.
But I'm getting less and less of the new gens and kks names, and I don't know more than a handful of Team8 members either ...
