They seem to have learned though, the Nutaku exclusive in Angelic Saga at least has sensible flavor text. She still looks incongruous with the rest of the game, but there is worse art in other DMM games.
It'd still be much simpler to just hire the DMM dudes (or scout Pixiv artists) to draw new characters. In fact you don't even need to make exclusives, just release the English-side characters a few months earlier so that we see fresh content, nobody is going to complain about how the dirty Japanese will get our pure Aryan girls later on.

I never have enough to do anything. Between trying to upgrade my resources facility, craft stuff, and the girls I like tending to be low-star base, I never have enough with how gated by food it is.
I'm sure it's less terrible later on with a super resource facility but starting out I have so many characters that are stuck at level 20 and can't handle chapter 3 stuff.
