Do Europeans learn about living their country in school?
I stopped by my old elementary school and I took some pics of some plaques talking about honor and nationhood
The school also has a memorial of Vietnam veterans who died from NJ inside.
Coincidentally the school is called memorial school

In my experience (attending both)
>private school
nationhood, conservative values, work ethic and ambition through a certain amount of competition
>public school
tolerance, no borders, mediocrity and everyone is special
We also did a thing called CCF from the age of 14-18 which is like a cross between scouts and actual military training. All in uniform and mostly extra curricular (mandatory). You choose navy, air force or army. (placed if spaces on one are full)
