After they got independence Moldavia adopted the same national anthem as Romania and pretty much the same flag. Unionism was also widespread among popular politicians.
Transnistria+Russian influence hasn't permitted the reunification tho. I can foresee a united Romania by 2040 though, the romanian economy is booming while Moldova is still poor as fuck
