Donald Tusk has said the EU must not let Britain profit from leaving the crumbling bloc as it could inspire other states to follow suit.

The president of the European Council said it would be "lethal" to let the UK walk away scot-free as he attempts to avoid a domino effect across the continent in the wake of Brexit.

>>
He will say anything to please Merkel. Nice pic btw.
>>
He is right. Britbongs would want to take what's the best from EU without contributing anything. Free market zone: yes, being a main banking system of Europe: yes, contributing to EU-funds: no, hosting million of Polish gastarbeiters: no. Fuck them, bitches.
>>
>countries work together to get a really shit deal
>meanwhile some of the countries have a referendum about the EU
>they vote leave and have to have the same shit deal
>>
Punishing Britain for something they were allowed to decide by EU constitution is weak and hypocritical

If they did something that had no precedence then maybe it is legit but this is part of the EU stipulation, It is like punishing people for the exercise of their rights
>>
>>62083029
For now nothing really happened. Weakening of British currency was little, because UK is still EU member. That's why we should remove UK from EU as fast as possible. UK government is doing everything it can to prolong this process. If UK doesn't invoke the article 50, EU should do it for them somehow.

desu I think people would be fine with continuing to contribute to the EU budget, as long as it was less than before. Free movement is the real red line.

Isn't it bizarre that EU leaders say that Britain only wants to cherrypick the benefits of the EU and none of the negatives, doesn't that imply they realise the negatives of the free movement of people?

Also, how shitty must your union be if you have to try and make examples of those that leave? If the EU is so great, surely the Commission wouldn't need to act like a wifebeating husband to keep it together.

To make another point, if there are 'negatives' to membership as Tusk admits, why are those policies maintained? Is continental Europe just that into masochism when it comes to being dominated by Mutti?

I can read, you fucking retard. That's what you call a "negative" is basically a contribution being a result of consensus between all members of EU. You want to break the consensus to maximalize your own gain at expense of others. Fuck you then.

It'll happen sooner or later I'm sure, the question is does the government wait until 2017 when the UK assumes the presidency for maximum bants?

Nobody is going to talk to your government before it invokes the article 50. It means that you will only prolong your EU membership with all obligations it is tied to.

The argument for delaying A50 is not to negotiate with EU countries, it's much more about giving time for backroom talks with non EU countries and develop a consensus negotiating position / get the civil service apparatus in place.

5 bln euro is less than 1% of our GDP. Greece with 4x smaller population and 2x bigger income takes more money from EU than we do. Go fuck yourself, you piece of shit. Poland can exist without EU but EU can't exist without Poland. If we went out, the whole project would go to shit and there wouldn't be any hope for it anymore.

It's funny that if Anglos had the referendum today, just around ~40% would voted to leave.

Yes, this is a several-year process, you have the right to negotiations for at least 2 years, with possible longer times if agreed upon by the EU members and parliament. I just don't think the UK won't be triggering Article 50 within more than a few months, and never reaching to 2017.
I think it would be financial suicide to set it back to 2017.
All in all, I'm guessing summer will have backroom negotiations with late September/early October triggering the Article.

Have you been living on the moon for the last 6 years? Of course they don't give a shit about economics. Look at they did to Greece. Or Portugal, Spain, Italy and Ireland.

From day 1 this is about achieving the European Superstate even at the expense of economics.

That's not true. Western companies and banks installed in Poland transfer out 15x more money annually than we "take" from EU-funds. And even this money that we "take" from EU-funds comes back to German companies. Moreover, we lost few million people that are worth hundred times more than all money EU could ever "give" to us.

Maybe Poland should be a good boy of the USA and leave your organisation too to kill it without survivors?

They should reinvest all profit that they have in Poland. The problem is that their profit grows exponentially, and they transfer more and more and more money from Poland without investing it here. If this trend continues, Poland will have to nationalize these Western companies.

Any government founded under the notion that it is anything but a necessary evil is not going to last. It will just turn in the wheel of kyklos and constantly suffer tyany and rebellion into a newer form to become corrupted again.

The only way to break the cycle is to chain government and focus on ensuring it can only do what it is explicitly allowed to do, and with great difficulty.
