Went to jail once for possession of marijuana, underage possession of alcohol, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The case was dismissed after taking some drug/alcohol classes, taking a few "random" drug tests (my probation officer and I would schedule them ahead of time, she was pretty based), working community service, and paying attorney/court fees. At this point, I could get it expunged (the records of my arrest would be destroyed), but jobs where I live grow on trees, and I have a solid work history, so I don't see the point in paying the court costs for that.
