Hamburg steak wasn't served on a bun in Germany.
The Hamburger as shown there is an American development.

I love whisky and cognac, but the Jack D never did it for me, i prefer Scotch whisky with smoke flavor, and french cognac.
>>
>>61890716
Well I have a bottle of 12 year old Glenlivet I bring out on special occasions, but as far as everyday sipping whiskey, I usually just go with Jack, Gentleman Jack (for a few bucks more), or Makers Mark.

Is it bad that I tend to avoid "pure" whiskey? (I mean mixing it with something else)
I mostly drink liquors or rum pure though.
>>
>>61890829
Of all liquor, you should drink whiskey straight with a tiny splash of water to set it off, or on the rocks if you like it cold.

Try it some time. It's an acquired taste.
>>
>>61890912
>mfw I have a friend that everytime we go out he asks for a Jack Daniels on the rocks
He is a nice guy but he tries to be too american.
Do americans drink different types of "drinks" or is it avoided there due to being labelled a pussy? (I mean, like, a capirinha, caipiroska, white russian, black russian, mojito, etc)
Here it's really common to see people drinking those stuff.
>>
>>61891012
Cocktails and mixed drinks are pretty common. Rum and coke or jack and coke are probably the most popular drinks for new drinkers.
>>
>>61891012
No, as long as it isn't some fruity faggot drink and has it served with a little umbrella and shit, unless you're at a beach or pool party, fruity drinks are pretty gay.

I enjoy some proper mixed drinks, but I've always just enjoyed the taste of whiskeys.

Your drinking culture sucks over there. People start with beer over here.

You seem insecure in your sexuality

What do you guys think of this, it's probably my favorite one, White russian. Vodka, Coffee liquor and cream on the rocks.
>>61891151
Here too, we have a lot of places with artesanal beer here. Which one is your favorite? I like the amber ale.
>>
>>61891151
>You seem insecure in your sexuality

No, I just don't like hanging out with women who can't drink properly.
>>
>>61891210
I love White Russians when made properly using quality products. That's a good drink for sure.
>>
>>61891151
Beer isn't in the same class as hard liquor.
>>
>>61891151
>Your drinking culture sucks over there. People start with beer over here.
I was speaking specifically about hard alcohol. Everyone starts drinking alcohol in their life with beer. It's implicit, like how everyone starts drinking fluids with breast milk.
>>
>>61891210
That looks tasty, but I don't like vodka. For some reason the taste of it makes me nauseous and has me vomiting after two drinks compared to being fine after a bottle of whiskey, tequila, gin, etc.
>>
>>61891365
What about jagger?
>>
>>61891210
I don't have a favorite, I like all kinds of beer that are available. From Flensburger to Tannenzäpfle and from Kölsch to Tyskie.
>>61891239
Like I said.
>>61891329
No, it is not. I once met a person who only drank Beck's.
>>
>>61891365
>vomits after a little vodka
>feels fine after even a shot of GIN

There's some wrong with your body man... Gin tastes like rubbing alcohol, even the top shelf brands.
>>
>>61891407

I don't remember anybody shouting Fritz, asking you to join in this discussion.

To be honest, I agree with the Jew.
>>
>>61891407
Sorry I do not know those names, while we have a lot of different ones here too. I don't remember the name but some weeks ago I tasted some Beer with chocolate, forgot the name, it was surprisingly good.
Also met a group of americans there. Quite loud, but nice.
>>
>>61891397
Jaeger is fine. Tastes like liquorice which I usually dislike but for a liquor is nice.

>>61891442
Weirdly it's the opposite for me. Gin to me has a nice refreshing and subtle almost citrus (peel) taste. Vodka to me tastes like what I would image rubbing alcohol to taste like.

This is the place, I always see americans here.
>>
>>61891365
A decent quality vodka is the easiest to drink for me. Whiskey just tastes bad, and tequilla is somewhere between whiskey and vodka. Gin is just terrible. It tastes like something I would use to strip paint off of cars.
>>
>>61891672
Looks like my kinda place. Do they serve good bar food there? Looks like it.
>>
>>61891750
Yes, Uruguay is the type of place that is 80% bars and 20% restaurants.

So most of the time Bars have really good service due to the market.

The common food served is french fries with moshrooms sauce or other sauces.
>>
>>61891955
Man, that looks delicious. I may have to look into taking a trip down there.
>>
>>61891955
do they sell some nice asado with that or is that the main meal
>>
>>61892132
That's like a first dish rather than main.
Main dish is usually burgers or something akin to that.
We have this place called "Burgers" that makes the BEST BURGERS in Uruguay, and that is not an overstatement. 500g burger meat, delicious shit.
>>
>>61892257
Sounds pretty nice. Wouldn't mind visiting if I could desu
>>
>>61891239
I can take alcohol very well, but I can't stand the taste at all.
>>
>>61891329
I started with vodka.
>>
>>61892333
I would like to visit USA too, I always wanted to try legit american barbacue.
Good thing I am not brown so I will not be treated as a mexican.
>>
>>61892376
Well, I think it's different based on regions. Nordics and slavs start with vodka, mediterraneans start with wine, germanics and anglos (and thus americans) start with beer, etc.
