hi
>>61883682
Can't let such a good thread die
>>61883727
pretty ornate
I probably have much more pics of Korea and China than Japan
>>61884399
Yeah, the whole temple is nice. No wonder, being dedicated to the guy who united Japan.
And I'm the opposite, kek. Have a lot of China pics tho, just not traditional stuff.
Mixing it up a little with a small tidbit in Hong Kong.
This is some fucking shit. I can't find that one pic of the capital that one guy once said looked Asian. Okay I may have had a bit to drink but it's hit still. So here0's a random pic of the capital.
I FUCKING FOUND IT. OP, it's this one. The holy trips made me look harded and I found it.
>>61885308
HK is absolutely GOAT. This is how would China look(and probably some day will) if it was developed.
>>61885537
The Norwegian guy is the one who said it's Asian looking. I'm personally hating on Slovenians. : ^ )
>>61885724
Poles are honorary Upper Carniolans.
What does your trip say btw.
>>61885333
>>61885537
Kek, that was me. I don't know, the building looks pretty oriental, disregarding the obviously classical middle portion.
>>61885776
That was build by Jože Plečnik, a guy who build all over Slovenia, Czechia and Austria. He was inspired by Venice because he believed we are descendents of ancient Veneti.
>inb4 WE
Here's one of his swell church designs. Sorry about the ppic size.
>>61885765
literally "Koreaboo"
>>61886048
I see. I have been thinking about learning Korean alphabet and some basics so I could talk to some tourists 2bh. I'm waiting for those younger ones though.
here's another Plečnik design, if I remember correctly. I'm drunk and only going by thumbnails so I could be wrong.
Recent, but decent temple in Singapore.
>>61886139
Like just barely over 10 years old recent.
>>61886138
Small and cute, but needs a new coat of paint
How asian architecture viewed in western?
>>61886232
I'm pretty sure I fucked up and it's not Plečnik's church. His designs are different.
Anyway, here's an early 20th century basilica, a famous and very popular pilgrimage site. I travelled there once and I'm not even a baptised Catholic.
>>61886270
Specify "Asian".
>>61885333
top comfy
>>61886355
east asia
Local opera and ballet theatre.
>>61886270
Exotic. How do Asians view western architecture?
>>61886460
Inside.
>>61886420
When time machines are reality, I wish to travel back to around 1910 and experience it Groundhog day-style. I'm not a city person but that style was the best.
>>61886554
More hall.
>>61886460
Looks like a space center, like a more stylish NASA building.
>>61886471
Elaborate
especially, roman architecture
>>61887133
Koreans like to take pictures (and a lot of them) of Slovene houses, even the shitty socialist ones.
>>61887206
not only slovene
we always take a photo when we are traveling
>>61886595
Now behold. Another cultural place of my hometown. You will like the name 'House of Culture of Tractor Builders'. Poetry like the design.
>>61887537
Hall, 2nd floor.
>>61887133
>Elaborate
Just pre-20th century European-styled architecture in general
>>61887602
Backyard. It's literally a field between it and the forest.
Chuvash State Institute of Culture and Arts. Somebody tried constructivism after constructivist times ended.
'Victory' cinema (on the right), it was demolished in 00s.
this thread make me want to travel anywhere
Now real constructivism from constructivist times. Currently an office building.
Friendly bump
>>61890107
And another one
>>61887646
He didn't mean you to elaborate on what architecture do you really mean he said that they view Western architecture as "elaborate"
>>61891950
Yeah, I realized too late. Reading comprehension was never my strongest suit.
>>61892779
Anyway, how the Nordics manage to have so perfect English with nearly flawless accent?
Is the education in your countries that good? Or the connection between English and other germanic languages makes it considerably easier for you?
