Other ex-soviet countries were equal to RSFSR, at least in the soviet constitution. That's why all of them could get independence, not because any of them were tough. We, on the other hand, fought tough enough for such a small nation we are, russians needed 2 wars to overwhelm us. And the price of each war with russians was terrible, but especially those 2 last wars cost us very expensive, about 300 000 people have died and nobody in the world gave a fuck.
We deserved to have independence, like nobody else in the ex-ussr, but we got wrong neighbourhood, if only we were not that close to fucking russia...
