Some people put it in glass bottles, I just make a small slit on the corner and I push it inside the bag. I've never had a milk go bad before I finished drinking it.

Milk is generally transferred to a carafe or pitcher of some kind. But the light goes out in the refrigerator when you shut the door so I guess that's sufficient
