Lol we have theseservice small buses that are called service cabs, they have a designated rout but they can be more flexible with where they let you get off, unlike buses. Anyway, sincecab people are generally in a hurry, and the driver cant drive and calculate how much money he needs to take and shit, people just board the cab and give other passengers the money so they can pass it forward to the cab driver.
So one time I had a friend from Russia come visit me and we took a service cab and sat near the driver. I wasn't paying attention while people gave him the money to deliver to the driver, and he was just was kinda wierded out. not knowing what to do, he took the money and heput it in his wallet like that. I found out about it when we got off, when he asked me what the hell was he supposed to do with that money.
