Britain leaving the EU has been catastrophic financially and morally, but it has been all worth it for the screams of the millennial progressives. My god, they are screaming like pigs being slaughtered! 75% of those between the ages of 18-24 voted for Remain, but only 40% showed up to vote - so complacent and arrogant were the millennial fucking shits in the arrival of the pre-ordained progressive utopia, that they believed it to be an inevitability without the need for their active exertion.

Meanwhile, the walking corpses and baby boomers, in demonstration of motivation, courage, and above all, of will, turned the young generation into their condoms by actually getting off their asses to the polling station. Now the millennials are fucked, fucked, fucked! Even those of us who are against leaving cannot help but salute their superior commitment to victory.

Now in typical millennial fashion, instead of recognising they are the ones who lost the referendum for their side through inaction, the progressives are whining about how they will have to live with this, and openly talking about genociding the old and restricting their voting rights, and how the votes of old should not matter and another referendum should be held, in a womanly display of behaviour.

Dirty fucking millennial shits, this is only what you deserve.

The people who scream hysterically aren't the typical millennial probably.

Medias are all "the British youth is pro-EU". That's wrong, the British youth didn't go to vote in majority.
>>
Except the typical millennial progressive online is screaming in laughter.

The only ones actually emotionally invested in this are Brexit-Trump-Tier /pol/ neckbeards and the people losing shitloads of money due to this. Most people laughing at you are neither.
>>
>>61424130
That's what's wrong with you. Treating voting like a matter of winning. Millennials who actually voted are probably more politically aware than you guys since it goes beyond some silly competition of shitting on someone for them.

And honestly all that talk about courage and will needed to vote? Any 60 IQ retard could vote.
>>
>>61424218

That's exactly right.

The 18-24 crowd was not Remain, they were apathetic. They'd rather watch Netflix than vote.

Then instead of putting out reams of editorials demonising the old and blaming them for their defeat, they should look at their own generation. However, introspection and accountability is a trait wholly absent from the millennial cunts.

They deserved to be raped by the elderly. There is nothing else to it. The Leave camp fought their campaign harder and displayed a superior commitment to victory. The failure is in the young to stop them.

This is some desperate spin from a EUnuch.

You don't vote, you don't have room to whine or complain. Fact is, the world doesn't revolve around Millennials, as much as they'd like to believe. Furthermore, young don't stay young forever, they mature and many have their beliefs evolve; a 20-year-old In voter stands a good chance of being a 40-year-old Out supporter in two decades. There's a reason all the young 20-something that were pro-weed in the 1960s and now the older people that oppose its legalization.
>>
>>61426694
17% of their economy is dependent on EU
They are crashing hard and being in denial about it is retarded
>>
>>61426741

So that implies that old people shouldn't be involved in decisions at all.

What is the cutoff age then?
>>
>>61426741
The diabetes generation are unlikely to outlive the newly retired.
>>
>>61426903
Retirement, maybe? If we don't expect them to drive a bus they probably shouldn't be making important decisions.
>>
>>61426741
>Because young people have to live with the decisions of old fuckers long after said old fuckers are dead.

By that argument, only the older ones should vote.

They're the ones with children under 18, not 18-24-year-olds. They're the ones voting for their children's futures, children who will on average live with the outcome longer than a 24-year-old.
>>
>>61423608
>all these old people will die and won't have to deal with the consequences

What do these people think the average life expectancy in the UK is? 70?
>>
>>61426942

So why the fuck should a brain dead 18 year old without any life experience deserve to vote then, Sven?
>>

The people who are actually affected by whatever is the subject being voted on should be the only ones who get to vote. Old uneducated pensioners in the sticks were not affected by the EU in any way except maybe when it subsidized a public toilet in the middle of their crumbling shithole of a town.

Then how exactly do you determine who is being affected by whatever is being voted on? You don't, because public referendums only work on a local level and are retarded on a national level.

Young people tend to be pretty well versed politically, but for whatever reason they never vote.

It's really bizarre, I've always wondered why it is, I see people on my facebook page screaming about politics daily, then, when I ask them who they voted for, they aren't even fucking registered.

I think a lot of young people don't realize how important voting is or are now just completely cynical about establishment politics.

I think voting age should be lowered to 16, 90% of 16 year olds won't vote, but it at least gets them politically engaged young that after maybe losing one election

>>61426831
>There's a reason all the young 20-something that were pro-weed in the 1960s and now the older people that oppose its legalization.

Actually fun fact, by like 25, peoples views are generally set in for life, it's just boomers when 25 were fucktonnes more conservative socially than us, for example, being gay was still illegal and there were public gay bashings till like the fucking late 1970s-1980s.

One of the main reasons for the huge push of alt-right online is to try create a new youth conservative movement because demographics and poll show them that being a right winger is basically cancer to todays youth, so as boomers start dying, socially conservative political parties are basically going to go the way of the dinosaur.

My friend who works for a political polling organization says that if young people actually voted, they could win elections for progressives literally every single time with ease and a super majority, but again the problem is, young people don't vote.

If you break it down 18-24 and 25-49 it looks like it was only older people for Leave, but really 35+ in Britain were Leave.

Is 35 even old? It's a Millennial by the media's usual "born between 1980 and 2000" line.

One thing no one seems to mention is that younger people in Britain are less white than older people, and non-whites were overwhelmingly Remain. I wonder if that played more a factor in it than age.
>>
>>61427193

EU will not live long enough for that to happen, especially now that everyone is up in arms over brexit, even trying to push that shit would make nations fall out faster then UK against Iceland.

>>
>>61427181
Continuing on a but from my post here, my personal reason I think young people don't vote is that young people feel completely disconnected from reality and the "real world", especially the political machine.

One of the best examples of this is 4chan itself, the Trump campaign for example is a good example of people not realizing how important politics is. Does anybody with a fucking brain think Trump will be good for the world? The dude is a sociopathic pathological liar who's engaged in scam after scam, fraud after fraud his entire career and his policies are based around authoritarian xenophobia and bizarre conspiracy theories taken from Alex Jones. No, I don't actually believe that even /pol/ for how retarded it is, actually believes Trump is a good candidate politically. The reason /pol/ supports trump is "For the lulz" because "it will make Liberals butthurt", IN THE REAL WORLD, everyone who votes for Trump from /pol/ and /r/thedonald is sacrificing their own future, for anonymous internet brownie points "Lol that guy voted for Clinton, what a KEK" they say as the world burns around them and the country implodes socially and economically ruining their futures.

How do I know this? My flag. in 2013, /pol/ had the biggest hard on for Tony Abbott, Australia's Trump, Alt-Right sociopath who was completely incompetent on every level and everyone (australian) on /pol/ cheered and campaigned for him. What happened once he was in power? Within a month Aus/pol/ was howling how their "Neetbux" had been cutoff and how the NBN had been completely destroyed and the economy was tanking. The Government, instead of spending 40 billion dollars to rollout a national FIBER network, spent 56 BILLION dollars to roll out a new COPPER network. I shit you fucking not. This is actually a thing that is happening. Aus/pol/ suddenly realized anonymous brownie points mean jack shit when their lives are personally massively negatively effected.

I think you overestimate young people in general.
Sure, those who do have an interest in politics do have quite an impressive knowledge on all sorts of political topics, but those who don't mostly haven't got a clue about the most basic stuff.
>>
>>61427497
As I think from my own experience with dealing with young millennials online (I'm 29 so Gen Y I don't know if I'm considered a millennial, I think Millennial is like late 90s - post 00s) is they simply have no clue how politics can actually effect them, they are too sheltered from the political reality of the world. When a Politican says he will cut medicaid, medicare, NHS funding, what that in reality means is that if you get sick, you may be completely fucked or forced to pay thousands of dollars in fees out of your own pocket. For your 18 year old still suckling on mum and dad, this may not be a big issue, but once you are in the real world it becomes truly life and death. I don't people on /pol/ realize that they actually campaign for policies that kill many, many people. When they cry about how "health care is for socialist cucks" and spread that shit everywhere online (and believe me, /pol/ is actually great at propaganda, I see normalfags on my facebook post /pol/shit despite clearly never being on 4chan) they are actually killing people.

This is the same for young people who don't vote, when they don't vote for their cynical "Duuur it doesn't mean anything anyway", they are giving support for whatever system comes into power and generally when young people don't vote, Neoliberal fuckstains get into power and guess what the start destroying, unemployment support, healthcare, disability support etc etc.

People really need to realize Politics actually matters. Back in 2014 I had the best job I ever had in my life, I lost my job, because Tony Abbott cut off all subsidies, drove away 300 billion dollars worth of investment offshore then put tarrifs on the sector I worked in (renewable energy, eco-building) and I was thrown back onto unemployment. That is how /pol/s shitty edgelord campaigning actually affected me in the real world, along with all my coworkers.
>>
>>61427239
Why the fuck did you think pretty much all young people educated or not voted to stay? Because they had their working lives on the line while said old uneducated shitbags had nothing to lose.

Actually scratch that, they had something to lose, their pensions, which are financed by the taxes paid by said "pampered juvenile bipolar safe space seeking aspiring "artists" (aka bums, potheads and baristas)".

So not only did the old fuckers shoot the next generation in the foot they also managed to fuck themselves over. Absolutely amazing.

>>

Is because illegal immigration is genuinely ruining the country and putting a tremendous strain on our overtaxed social services. What you seem to be forgetting is that we have millions of Mexicans forcing their way into the country and making demands, if someone is willing to actually give enough of a shit to tell them to fuck off then that's fine by most of his supporters. The fact that he isn't bending over for China, isn't hell bent on antagonizing Russia, wants to reduce the amount of overseas bases and pisses off liberals and foreigners is nice too.

Good, fair is fair. The adequacy isn't nearly enough though, didn't it turn out it wasn't about direct orders but more within her line of responsibilities?

Are you actually being proud of only having arguments based on insults and not being smart enough to realize that your tactics are a tremendous failure?

You are the cause of what you claim to hate.

>Britain leaving the EU has been catastrophic financially and morally
where the fuck? Credit rating fell, that's not catastrophic and I don't see how morally this wasn't a victory?

So people with diseases that have a high mortality shouldn't be allowed to vote? People who do drugs or have a risk consumption or more shouldn't have a say? Why not just let le epin meme rich succesful decide everything for the dumb proles? XD

>Fucked up the entire planet
>Pushed for globalisation that destroyed our countries and made them irrelevants
>pushed for massive immigration to serve their interests and now let us deal with the consequences
>build a social system designed to profite only to them and let the next generation deal with the consequences
etc etc....

And you people are actually proud with thinking like them? How pathetic can you be?

Really, and what are you doing to fix things, internet warrior? Posting memes? You're exactly like the baby-boomers, just letting other people do things for you while you sit like a shit in your couch, criticizing and making comments about what other people are actually doing.

>Young people tend to be pretty well versed politically
lmao no they're not, they just parrot the shit they watch in comedy talk shows and read on facebook and to a lesser extent tumblr

>The dude is a sociopathic pathological liar
Eh no, you're describing Clinton, who is currently under FBI criminal investigation, has been involved with a coup that left Americans dead, has been proven to lie and commit fraud on multiple occasions and a plethora of other similar behavior.

This. Young people have theories based solely on their ideals. Those ideals aren't yet tempered by reality and are often dogmatic, extreme, and naive. Who do you think farage is looking to impress with "fund the NHS with EU money, lol jk" on a bus? Naive internet keyboard warriors who believe in "muh Thatcher".

Young people don't know shit about anything and truly believe their internet makes them smarter than older people.
>>
>>61430745
Farage didn't say anything about £350 million going to the NHS. There were two Leave campaigns and his was not responsible for the claim. That's why he said that the other campaign's statement, however purely suggestive, was a "mistake".

Regardless my point stands. Young people are idiots. Is it any wonder Japan is the most stable country on earth? Young people never vote or protest here, and virtually no one considers politics until they are at least 30 years old and already well into their careers. Politicians all know that if you fuck with young people, they will do dumb shit like vote for Brexits or Trumps, so they keep their political shit as far away from them as possible.

Stupid English countries tries to make voters angry for cheap election victories and then wonder why their countries go to shit.
>>
>>61431160
Well, Japan is not without its problems but sure, the way politics are handled there allows for greater stability.

I'd say thanks to both political parties being self-serving and ignoring the people they claim to represent, really. As much as Trump irritates the left, the GOP has tried their level best to kneecap him to no avail.

I wonder why political and economic elites in China would shit on a democratic referendum that upsets the status quo? It's almost like they're trying to say democracy isn't a good thing...

Not to be a weeb but Japanese culture is very immpressive in how practical and sensabile the people are, its almost unrealistic to expect the same from American citizens.
>>
>>61433090
Yeah, Japan seems to have a little more respect for its elderly population and considers their opinions valuable. Too much of this can be a bad thing, but the other side is where old people are basically treated like old garbage in the US.

Agreed, fucking lazy young brtions have only themselves to blame for this. Let them eat the cake now.
