Have you smelt the skin of native Africans? The majority are labourers without access to running water. They usually smell very sweaty and I'm pretty confident that their skin would taste gross. Besides, all accounts say that people taste more or less like pork, and pork biltong is meh. So no, we do not skin black people, let the skin hang and dry coated in oils and spices, and then eat it.
We do this with choice cuts of beef and ostrich instead.

It's impossible for a heartier food to exist. First, you make a nice thick stew with beef, potatoes and vegetables. Then you put big balls of flour and suet (a type of fat) on top. The lid is then put on. The dumplings cook 2 ways, from the hot stew underneath and they steam from the pots atmosphere. You get left with these soft springy balls that fill your stomach in one bite, there's nothing better
