As in, you work in a factory, the factory is run by the consensus of the workers there, you vote to determine the decisions that would normally be made by an executive, and outside of these small democratic bodies would be anarchy so the factories that vote poorly or produce poorly would go out of business.
Like I said, it's not intellectually inconsistent, but it's just a fairy tale scenario.

Anarcho-syndicalism could work, theoretically, but it would have to be a global revolution, so no big private conglomerates elsewhere. Also, it revolves around a few basic Enlightenment values/assumptions, namely freedom of association and social contract, and also believes people are creative and want to cooperate, create and be part of a community. However, since it's "anarchy", people can leave the community if they disagree with its rules (even when those decisions are reached democratically), since there's no state mechanism which enforces the rules. It's kind of like communism, but with more individual freedom and more respect for different communities' ways of life (again, because there's no huge Soviet-like state to crush dissenters).
Obviously this cooperative mentality is idealistic, and a lot of these syndicalists have turned violent, which kind of betrays their belief system, but it is intellectually consistent.
