"Relevant" may not be the word I would use, more like "interesting", but yes, and I think it has more to do with Korea opening up to the world, since you guys are kinda insular, "Hermit Kingdom" and stuff

I heard Jugoslavija was virtually the only former socialist/communist country that taught Korean War happened with the North's aggression rather than the South's aggression as other socialist/communist countries did before the end of Cold War. >>

>>
>>61125831
That is true. Jugoslavija was not a part of the Commie Block for long, Tito anticipated what Stalin wanted, so he instead help found The Non-Aligned Movement. And you are right, to this day we are taught that North started the war.

Tito was a great leader, but had some flaws. Tesla, on the other hand, is still venerated in Serbia. Most of our people agree that he was the greatest Serbian to ever live

Saenuri, i.e. the Korean conservative, acted like Harper i.e. cuckservative selling out to China. I am not saying that Minjoo or the People's party (the 3rd party) isn't pandering to China; they act like Trudeau to Muslims when it comes to NK and they do pander to China a lot but conservative didn't really show up to vote as Saenuri and president Park acted completely cuckservative anyway.

I voted Park over Moon in 2012 but quit voting as she acted completely like Harper. Idk. My father is from Alberta of Korea (=Northern Gyeongsang) but he didnt vote for the parliament election this year eithe.

>>
>>61138874
No I can't. I only distinguish based on context. Also ㅙ, ㅞ, ㅚ, arent that distinctive pronunciation these days even if ㅚ is technically German umlaut o or French 'eu' pronunciation and so. (I cant pronounce that phoneme correctly. so does ㅟ which was supposed to be German umlaut u or like French 'u' which nowaday is produnced as 'wi' or 'wee')

T. Korean but I kinda have shitty pronunciation

Oh, are you gonna do some job over there in Korea btwn?
>>
>>61138874
You cant hear difference between 내일 and 네일?
No they can't.

Almost all Koreans are not able to tell apart 외/웨 either. 외 and 위 each was originally pronounced like "ö" and "ü" but nowadays people just pronounce them like "we" and "wi".
>>
>>61139088
>>61139092

I thought ive consistently heard subtle difference between them (a bit like é è ê in french)
More specifically, 에 seems to be a tad more prolonged and a tiny bit more high pitch than 애, but i might be mistaken

And yeah software engineer

Gangnam. Good area bit too crowded for my taste (I lived in Bundang which is 30 mins by drive/public transportation (which is actually 1hr and half when traffic is super bad tho) from Gangnam. My parents still live there) but still good as its the manhattan of Korea.
There actually are differences in the pronunciation about the phonemes I mentioned but its only among like ppl who are 50 or older. Newer generation's Korean is kinda becoming like Afrikaans is to Dutch as pronunciation becomes simpler (less phonemes preserved) and ppl care less about grammer
>>
>>61139421
>I thought ive consistently heard subtle difference between them (a bit like é è ê in french)
Historically there is, and this is maintained in the speech of older people. Young people however have merged the two e sounds and changed the sounds that used to be like umlaut o and u to new we and wi.

Cuz Korea barely had startup culture before like 4-5 yrs ago. Venture capital existed in like early 2000's but it went away with dotcom bubble in the US.

>tfw my father wasted his money with share market in that period as my father was a doc and the docs formed union to do strike against the govt's policy of forbiding docs to give medicine directly to patients and instead only allow docs to give prescription to pharmacists.

That policy was shit 2bh. (policy of former president Kim Daejung) Not allowing docs to give drugs directly to patients only made benefits to pharmacists and made it more costly and ineffective to make patients to get quality treatment. They did this to discourage docs from getting benefits from pharamaceutical companies but those companies gave free shit to pharmacists and government instead which made cost imposed on patients even more expensive
>>
>>61141400
how's your experience with health care in general in korea? (in terms of cost and effectiveness I guess)
>>
>>61141741
Currently it is cheap and effective but it will collapse in 10 yrs as docs are paid less due to weird govt regulation and there are too little doctors going into fields like cardiology, emergency medicine, or cardiac surgery that are vital for life saving. Korean doctors are becoming more of getting paid like South America but have to take responsibility of American doctors and government never subsidize doctors enough as they dont want to lose vote by increasing tax. The current set price (as regulated by government) for endoscopy cannot even cover the cost to wash endoscope.

There already are signs that it is collapsing rural area (like town with 10-100k population) is having more news of patients get killed as there is no emergency room in the area less than like 50 mins away because hospitals cannot keep up ER w/ government subsides. Also, attending/consultants are doing all cardiac surgery as no one applies to become a cardiac surgeon as it pays shit but get sued a lot but govt refuses to work on that.

No worries but if you will be there for less than 10 yrs but I would def recommend you to get private insurance to be treated in Japan or China if you were to live there like more than 20 yrs.

If you know good Korean try reading some fb posts of 노환규. He is a doctor and a leader of doctor's union against current system. He maybe biased a bit but he accurately describes how govt and too low compensation toward docs will destroy Korean healthcare.

I don't know Korean healthcare is slowly turning itself into Cuban/South American tier unknowingly. Mb plastic surgery and dermatology remain as it stills attracts Chinese and Japanese but those two will eventually move to China or Japan for more profit and less govt intervention

You know, level of development or GDP of country counts fuck all when it comes to happiness
Maybe in Serbia there's more freedom or weaker law enforcement or more people with souls that make the residents happy
That was the case when I lived in Malaysia.

Fuck knows where would you be happy? You could in Korea. Its just that its very less likely. Its close to impossible.
>>
>>61155154
>99% of korean songs are only saying about love story
I think that this might have an impact on people's creativity in art. Why are most songs about love stories anyway? Because only that topic is accepted by the public? Or the artists are all heartbroken or deeply in love, so that is the only thing they sing about?

>>61155201
>You know, level of development or GDP of country counts fuck all when it comes to happiness
I agree. Also, society and how it functions play a BIG role. I have written in some other thread how societies of Serbia and Korea are complete opposites for the most part and how we could learn a lot from each other. I can tell you if you wish

>Fuck knows where would you be happy? You could in Korea. Its just that its very less likely. Its close to impossible.

But why is this? I never understood why people of Korea are so unhappy. I mean, I get that there is hardcore competition, pressure from family and society in general, but is there any effort to break that mold? Are there people thinking with their own mind instead of blindly following?
>>
>>61155348
there's a big hip hop scene in korea tho (and some really good shit comes out of it)
many people listen to ballads; ballads are usually about love or strong emotions
from my experience not that many koreans listen to assembly line kpop (not as much as the kpop loving foreign freaks) although many of their songs become very mainstream and played all over

>Are there people thinking with their own mind instead of blindly following?
you have to remember korea is in every practical way a very young country that was able to get through war, colonialism and terribly crippling recession with flying colours
they have made immense progress very quickly, it's understandable that more old-fashioned customs and ideals are still ingrained
from my experience many koreans do understand and see the flaws of their country, culture is just such a behemoth to change that it takes a while to change
first step to change is understanding there's a problem, and i think koreans are on the right path
>>
>>61155348
I think,

The more region which have higher estrogen rates, the more love story tendency their culture contain in.

Love story is quite general topic in songs, but it's not extremly occupying just like in korea. And i guess it's because korea has different hormone system comparing western society.

First of all, to explain hormone story, we can take a look foods what they insist.

We asian region usually eat bean kind foods often. Like tofu in china, and natto in japan, and some -jang kind sauce in korea.
And bean kind foods stimulate estrogen hormone rate when you consume it.

And low protein foods comparing with western countries,

but you guys in contrast, eat much protein foods like dairy foods from milk, or meat or even wheat(wheat have lots of protein more than rice), or eggs.

Those foods are really not so usual in east asia since the time back then centuries ago. So the mostly same till now

consequently it occured difference of hormone.

The difference of hormone which is like high rate of testosterone in western region so they could sing songs like ragious song like metal music,

but feminine region like east asia couldn't do the same. And more feminine tendency, the more love kind- concentrating tendency. And also it makes trait of superficial, which can explain why asian region is so much extremly competative between people to get in high rank university and job.

Well it's just my theory. I guess it's a bit out of topic btw

Well, first of all I'm hardly Korean(despite nationality) my perspective is that there are society norms set by authorities that cannot be broken.
One prominent excuse is that we are still in war. When you're in war and living in constant fear your personal freedom matters less significant than the greater good for the society. You are expected to sacrifice, and this is the norm.

This worked well in 60s and 70s when human rights were less of an issue. But the ideology lived on and are enforced today, after our economy becoming strong. You are still expected to sacrifice and not to question.

How is this possible? For this, dictators and authorities created various propaganda to justify the ideology. In school you are taught always to put country ahead of you. Hate Japan. Think in favour of government.

When kids grow up and see they're drafted, wage is low and working condition is bad due to government's corruption with corporation and finally witness government not giving a fuck about peoples life(shipwrecked, MERS), it makes us miserable.

Also the competition thing and expense housing. Also the general lack of fidelity. Burnouts. Derivatives of army cultures. Age hierarchy. Inequality, you name it.

Least I could do? Spend all my money to get out
>>
>>61155788
>trying to get out from one of the best countries in the world

>>
Wow, I love these answers, they provide such invaluable insight. So let me address each one:

>>61155650
So you say that societal development didn't keep up with economical development? I also agree that they are on the right path. It is good to have a foreigners perspective on these questions too

>>61155781
I like your take on these questions I have asked. Do you really think that Korean men are less masculine than western men? This is the first time I hear about this and would like to hear more. Also, the food argument, in my opinion, might have a role, but not as significant as you say. I might be wrong, so I would ask you to please explain some more

>>61155788
One of my fist thought about my own question was the government and education. I think that Korean govt. is hiding some big truths from your people and "forbid" them to think as they are afraid that people will realize these truths. The whole way of life in Korea for Koreans seem to me like a dead end, with soju being the only way to ease the pain. "Pressure at school, pressure at university, pressure at work, die alone at old age" - these are the words of my Korean friend from online gaming. I think that, now that Korea is well out of the gutter economically, the people should see that the next step is a "societal evolution" of sorts.

>Also the general lack of fidelity. Burnouts. Derivatives of army cultures. Age hierarchy. Inequality, you name it.

Jeeeeeez. Care to explain these? Also, why not try to change something, wake the people up, instead of running far away? I am not judging, just honestly interested

Another question: Why is materialism and focus on status of such big importance in Korea? Here in Serbia, we say "the more you have in material world, the less you have in spirit world", but it seems to be the opposite in Korea and that I find VERY interesting

>>61156306

So What's going on in Korea? In Last mp election Korean equivalent of democrats won. Not by big margin but it meant people were disappointed by current govenment and oppression. Young people started to vote because they realized if they don't they will get fucked harder
This is quite significant because lack of their involvement in earlier election birthed president who is a daughter of dictator. And she's behaving like her father too.

Other than that not much. Because war is still going on, any ideology that is remotely left has been accused of communism- a magical word that makes these liberal activists north Korean scum. This is example of another successful propaganda of past dictators. You see if you say anything liberal people will think you're nuts (unless you're skin colour isn't yellow)

>lack of fidelity, burnouts....
Chinese philosophy- confucianism is traditional way of thinking for Koreans. This is kind of wrongly interpreted to Koreans to 'fuck everyone who is under your social hierarchy' and even when this exist in all cultures, in Korea this is practiced more frequently.
Partly due to army culture. Every man is drafted and learned to beat up their lower rank kids so they would do things faster. Tradition passes down. They come out to society with PTSD, treat everyone else shitty. They go amok once in a while or kill themselves. My dad suffered that.

>inequality
This is issue everywhere but In Korea most issue is that common people being unable to afford getting a house. Its impossible. I don't even want to get into statistics. People are fed up working whole life to be homeless

Okay.. well I used to speculate on the races on earth.

It was not for getting results like saying some race is inferior or some race is superior.

but instead, what i was concentrating about was how the races are actually stemmed diffentely?

So the answer i found was the insumption theory.

Most of theory about the races saying only climate things like mongoloid evolved in cold region in syberia or black people had constantly tanned skin because they were placed in extremly sunny region.

I won't fully deny those theories but those theories are too short and lack to explain many difference we have.

Climate theory obviously applys when we talk about the skin. But not really when it's about facial feature.

European and western people, and even arabians , northern indians have quite similar outlook when we don't consider about the skin color. (I am not containing any offense saying this) and they are actually called one as caucasoid race.

and caucasoid race has quite similar food ingestion culture also.

Western society - cow diary foods
arab region - camel, goat diary foods
Indo region - goat diary foods

They got a high protein rate food ingesting culture with diary foods comparing with east asia still. Even if their diet is not so ample as western region.

And might there can be difference with height, but not so very different when we take a look body shape or face outlook.
When i say body shape, it means like long legs, and small head, and when about the face outlook you all have supraorbital torus.

They are all concerned with protein consumption. When you eat green vegetable kinds, your intestines need to do elaborate work more than when you eat meat. So the intestines should be spacing bigger that occurs longer upper body shape.

So that explains the body shape difference between mongoloid(long upperbody) and caucasoid(longer leg than upper body)
and so the same facial outlook.

Yet i got more explanation for superaorbital torus. -
>>
>>61156306

>why aren't you doing something
As >>61155650 so eloquently put it culture doesn't change that easily. Remember Korea is an aging country where conservative mindset is social norm and lefties get treated like criminals

Also I'm quite indifferent because I did not grow up in Korea and did not fit in the culture that is so hard to change. I speak Korean well but not academic level.
I like some Koreans and wish Korea to get better tho, otherwise won't writing this shit.

Materialism is crazy and maybe that's just how our poor as fuck ancestors passed down to their kids. I'm not sure why people focus on status that much and not happiness. There really isn't much of concept of happiness I think. I had dinner with a qt while back and when I mentioned that word she said she was surprised and its courageous to view life like that in Korea. Success equal happiness is very much what every Korean's way of thinking.
Maybe its something to do with overly self consciousness nature of Koreans.
I don't really know. There isn't an answer I think
But most Asians are materialistic tb h. Maybe except Japan.
>>
>>61156306
The supraborbital torus can be occured when you have mainly protein consumption which can stimulate bone frame growth.

For example we can take a look native american's face.

Their face is seen as pretty somilar with asian but actually when you try to look specificly you can find they have something different look more than asian, that they have supraorbital torus.

In DNA map native american is stemmed out from mongoloid in glacial age time moving to america continent. But their outlook is evolved little bit differently more than mongoloid.

I guess it's because they used to consume protein hunting mommoths in america regions. By the time when they were moving to america coincides the time mommoths in america had exstinct.

And for explain how exactly caucasoid race were emrged, it's not so sure but i guess samely their ancestors used to hunt mommoths. So they could consume protein even before they found how to tame some animals so they could get regular protein ingest.

the reason i emphasize mommoths hunt is because the vestige which explains human race used to hunt mommoths is only found in caucasus and europe region yet, where the place caucasoid's ancestors like homo heidelbergensis(you can google about them) used to exist.
(By the time, in the east asian region there were peking man or java man)

So the general story this theory means,

rsces are stemmed from difference of ingestion of food.
And it even quite influenced in outlook difference, and its history of difference of ingestion been quite long when we compare caucasoid and mongoloid. (More than several hundred thousands)

And ingesting of lots of protein even influence about the different personality between asian and westerner since the protein is the based materials of our hormone.
>>
I will guess that this >>61157394 continues to >>61158108 and will reply in that way. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

Good to see younger people taking the matter in their hands and taking it seriously. How did it get to the point where a child of a dictator gets elected? That fear of communism you speak of?

I always had the impression that Confucianism is more bad than good for Korea, especially in these modern times. That 'fuck everyone who is under your social hierarchy' obliterates any attempt at critical thinking or creativity by anyone in the lower end of the hierarchy, and that is a big problem, in my mind. I hope this changes with the younger generations, as there is a good probability that they will continue that tradition just because when they are older "FINALLY, I HAVE THE POWER!!!" and crush new youngsters like they themselves were crushed.

I get that these changes we are talking about will take some time and effort, but in a country with many obstacles they create themselves, those problems should be the first ones to tackle. Success = happiness is a sure way to be miserable in the end. I hope Koreans realize this sooner than later. Status does not even exist, but happiness does, and it surely does not stem from status.

Also, thanks you for answering, I appreciate it. Much respect.

It is interesting to see your take on this through biology. While I am aware of physical differences between the races, I never thought about how diet can affect evolution in different parts of the world. Sadly, I have little knowledge of biology and anatomy of humans, so I can't really comment on your findings.

There are many points you make that actually make sense. Why did westerners ingest much protein, but asians did not? What is your theory about that? Is the land in Asia bad for keeping livestock?

Materialism doesnt matter 2bh Its surely the fact out there and a convenient term for describing it, but its somewhat overrated and doesnt explain everything about their practical mentality.

In a nutshell, realistically, just pirating and scams are the problem.

In China and Korea, its fucking terrible as much as they cant make independent artists and self-made or self-distribution media/art in various genres.
And its NOT their own problems. Its just usual 3rd world shit.

Thats exactly what comes down from 3rd world and the mentality of it.
Lacks of understanding social credibility and sense of community, and of a mutual adjustment among each local people cause it.
Over there people cant trust each other. So they steal shit form others without concern and fool others without scruple to the point of ruining possibilities of their own new culture and stopping it form budding.
And its a thing in every 3rd world country. Its plain and fucking simple.
>>
>>61158876
Yeah.. i really didn't thought that deep though about how the two races had different taste of food.

But really, the hormone difference obviously influence even in personal mind shape.

Some westerners do a satire that asian people seem to souless working machine.

Well, that's right. I think westerners are having ample emotions more than asian too.

I really had some surprise feeling when i came to /b/ board of 4chan, there was fucktons of zoophilia and pedophilia or gay pictures.

Pretty surprised but wondered how many westerners could feel really libido on those things. ( im not generalizing westerner's taste but it was obvious different thing more than when i browse korean website)

an exact thing i observed was that you guys have obviously diverse taste.
I didn't even understand guys who have yellow fever.

It's just mere example you can check easily..

You are having pure interests on many things that we can not even imagine. That's respectable though.

Tons of western scientists, philosopers, or even pabru the insect fetish guy

those guys can't never be born in asia region.

Because we asians are pursuing efficiency in any cartegory, people would tease you that you have worthless interest in useless things.

If something you do is not related with ranking stuff, like if you do something which is not so helpful to get your ass in highclass living, it is just worthless.

That calculative mind is pretty usual things in asia.

We're not so diverse tasting and having pure interests like you people do. And most of asian smatasses are doing works on purpose. Purpose which for reaching on the top.

It's not helping to have interest on studies when asian parents urge, it's just imposing their children to be high rank life, it's containing purpose.

Not that pure or sincere interests.
>>
>>61160244
Oh man, if this is true, than my thoughts were kind of right. About the calculated, efficient work, without new ideas and creativity. That seems really bad to me.

But the hard work part is awesome and worth of admiration. If asians mixed that hard work and added a little bit of creativity, I think new miracles would happen, in science, art, all kinds of places and areas of life. It is sad that people encourage their children to go on the path everyone is already traveling, it creates that competition and stress you guys endure on daily basis since childhood.

And I can't imagine that asians don't have emotions that westerners do, or that emotions are that different between asians and westerners. Can you explain this in more detail? Like, give me some example from your experience

Diverse tastes are good, even if they are weird like fucking dolls, all kind of different fetishes etc. It shows how diverse we might be in other area of life. I think that westerners could learn from asians to be more hard working and efficient, and asians could learn from westerners to be more creative and of open mind. What are your thoughts on this?
>>
>>61158876
And i think the different mind shape really emerged in protein ingestion. Not kidding

Growth hormone,
Testosterone,
estrogen,
Dopamine

Most of hormones in our body consist from proteins. Since they are all amino-acids structures.

It is pretty sure that you ingest material things of something, than you maybe have lots of secretion of that something than someone who didn't ingest the materials.

It's the same logic.

I assume that all of westerners hormone secretion's alsolute value is lots of than asian's.

Even in estrogen. Although i mentioned asians are feminine more than westerners. (It meant that they have relatively high 'proportion' among the hormones, not as absolute value)

And dopamine hormone is one of famous hormone in our hody, which function is enable a person have interest on something, curiosity on something.

Tbh it's not something proved in some experiment, but im quite sure that you guys have lots of dopamine secretion so it enable to have pure or sincere interests more than asians do.

All of my explanation was for caucasoid race people, but i have some explanations for asians also.
>>
>>61160613
Well thanks bout your sayings.

And actually i will tell the truth to you,

the hardworking mood might be seen as a fierce passion, but it is actually not.

Most of the crazy hardworks... those are can emerged in lack of confidence.

It's starting from sense of crisis. Crisis that you will crash in a deep poo toilet in your life.

There are tons of people in asia who constantly feels passimistic, miserable sense.

And i see it as pretty natural since we have estrogen secretion.

Anyway so from that basis, most of asians hardworking may seem passionate but they are actually running away from the fear they will be in a life of shithole. That's it.

Mostly feeling inferior on something, and to surmount it. That's the reason why there are so many people in asia hardworking but the result is kinda shitty.

Because although most of them were hardworking, it was hardworking to crawl like a loyal dog under their boss. Not for their personal passion and interests.

Then maybe ask to me..
why would you apply as a loyal dog to someone on your once only lifetime ?

Yes. In that situation we can catch the picture of superficial trait which asians have.

Being a loyal dog who is hardworking to some boss, it may can be seen as wasting, but it can be seen as loyal and your reputation in a crowd can keep to be safe.

that's it. That's all about the hardworking point.

It is the same about studyint too. Most of student studying hard say like " i study to make my parents feel happy"

maybe it is the stage to flatter to your family, not to your boss in a workplace.
>>
>>61161394
Wow. Just wow. Thanks for being honest, I appreciate it so much. I also guess your not saying that all people do this, and that there are people who work hard because they like their job, right?

I would never have thought that all that hard work comes from lack of confidence and fear for the future. I always thought that it was that strong will asians are known for. Feeling of inferiority was the last thing on my mind, honestly. Does that have to do with that social hierarchy and to do what those above you say, no matter what? And about the superficial aspect, would a person really sacrifice most of his life to be seen as loyal and to raise reputation?

I have to say that this seems like a fairy tale to me, so far from reality I live in...
>>
>>61160613
Asians are having good points too though.

If only the road is made well, we will follow the way as normal and safe people.

Because even if we are superficial, that means relatively we fuse well in a situation.

But it can be shown as bad result when situation is so bad like north korea or china, just like no one will gonna rebel or rise.

It's very different type comparing that in history there were many cases that you caucasoid people succeed righteous rebel.

Like france revolution, chausesq fell down by civilians of romania, so the same qadafi of libia.

I didn't see that powerful rebels in asia even the situation is enough to do it.
>>
>>61162077
>Asians are having good points too though.
Of course, as I said, there are a lot of things westerners could learn from asians. And I think that a big revolution will happen in your country in the near future, it has to, the circumstances are there and your people are not stupid. They will react, they will retaliate, maybe not like westerners, but in their own way
>>
>>61162538

>>

>>
>>61162816
They will not be able to ignore it for eternity. Governments are made by the people, and they fall by the people. Some of the most iron-fisted leaders have fallen like this, and yours will be no different. There are more people outside of the government than in it, they cannot silence you all.

>>61162919
Go away burger, your ignorance is not wanted here
>>
>>61161922
Sure. obviously there are people working in zeal because he likes his work.

but i just explained the typical hardworking face which enough to be called as souless working machine.... which is life like company's consumption goods.

going to work from 8am and lasts in the company till 10 or 11pm.

this is pretty usual. but the workers seem the pride somehow they are working hard so they contribute on something... maybe working like that is enough to make them feel satisfied that he's in something hardworking. but im kinda feeling sad on it though. because most of companies also pursue efficiency so they don't appreciate to their work persons.

but yeah. there is really someone who work in sincere value like a doctor who works for 18hours continuing to save someone's life.

but any countries on earth have some sincere persons like that. and they are only few

even if the answer was seeming passimistic, it's enough if it helped you to understand. or even if it helped you to get a new idea

A civilized AND interesting conversation in 4chan AND on /int/?

Well I'll be damned. Thank you for this, my day is now made.

Also serbro, by slavcountries do you mean all the countries surrounding russia (the ones that used to be in the USSR)
If so, how is the racism there?

I am not white, I am latino. light brown black hair. I've read some stories online about people being mistreated for not being white/slav

My guess is that those stories are the usual overexaggerated people getting offended by different customs (culture shock) pic somewhat related
Cuz I find a lot of stories like this, of every country that I want to visit, first world or third world.

Seems like I just answered my own question, but still, I'd like your input.

I hope that a better future awaits you people

>>61163849
All memes aside, the rule to go by in slavic countries is DO NOT THINK YOU ARE HOT SHIT AND RESPECT THE NATIVES. "Respect" being the key word. The blackest of blacks will be treated as equal if he respects the natives. I am mostly talking about the Balkans, but I am sure this goes for the most slavic nations. Getting offended by customs will only get you ridiculed and get you further away from the experiences you wish to get.

examples i told were for 20's or 30's. it's a time to look around to check how the mood is like to not be blamed every moments in a company.

but your daddy dad, whose age is 40 or 50, on that age usually your dad need to be placed as boss. not as a loyal dog.

Well I can say one thing. About politics there, right wings are thinking even right wing part has been cucked like Steven Harper in Canada as right wing party pandered to China and NK too much and did so many left wing policy such as unconditioned free school lunch for all students (right wings only supported free lunch for poor ones)
While left wings are like right wing use communism as excuse to oppress left wings (funny thing is among youth, right wing is viewed as Trump supporters even if Korean right wing is even more left leaning than American Democrats economically) and Korea need to spend 3 times more money on welfare.
Idk left and right have parallel view that will never reconcile and so many people with potentual are actually leaving the place (looks at so many self haters here. I am one of them but anyway). I guess the country will disappear within 50 years as it will never satisfy either right or left wing and people with ability is leaving like hell. Also its possible that America will sell out Korea to China soon

Interesting take on the subject. Seems like there is a mess in the whole government, and it would not surprise me that personal interests have something to do with it. But I doubt that the country will disappear, being left to rot and descending into 3rd world is more likely. And what would happen if it gets sold out to China?
>>
>>61174364
Well China has been asshole to Korea even with Korea being an American ally. I cannot imagine what will they do to Korea if it gets sold out as it doesnt even have nuke like NK or Pakistan. I guess Korea will become the Philippines or Burma 2.0 if it is sold out to China i.e. 3rd world shithole where Chinese are upper class establishment. Koreans whether right or left hardly know that their parties wont make the difference. Left literally just ignored when Chinese official visited Minjoo the opposition party and urged them to do something to quit American plans to install missile defence system in Korea as left wing kinda obeys China as China provide resource to NK (I am not saying all left wing are NK juche supporters but it is fact that they did or have been allied with NK supporters to win elections previously and many ppl suspect if they are still doing so and they havent given good excuses.) and right wing party, the Saenuri, is blaming that yellow dust/dust problem from China for Koreans grilling pork belly and mackerels because they are afraid that anything offending China will cause China to quit/lessen trade with Korea. Both left and right wing parties in Korea are cuck to China and I can see the country falling into Chinese domain and I can see that Korea's Finlandization to China will be even more harsh that Finland went through under Soviet based on how China treat Hong Kong and Taiwan. The only way Koreans can salvage themselves for incoming Chinese will be just becoming boat people as establishment arent even trying
