Out of all countries that post here Slovaks are the ones that piss me off the most. Their entire fucking culture makes no sense. What exactly is it that you do? Carry ciupaga and eat oscypek?
If I think of Poland I think of wódka, winged hussars and Jesus. Sure, lots of partitions and occupations, but at least they wear their stubborness like a badge of honor, use it as a cultural identity, their flag promotes the martyrdom of the country with these innocent white and bloody red stripes.
Czechia is slutty, a country that prides itself on its porn industry and their citizens who jerk off to it. It's also the country with the biggest responsibility when it comes to flooding Europe with its beer and knedliki. Their flag waves the same colours as Poland, but they slapped a blue triangle on it. A degenerate flag for a degenerate country.
Hungary is serious and depressed to a fault. They live hard lives and kill themselves. Obviously the entire country is pretty much a shithole but it breeds fat, suicidal people who can take permanent care of themselves. Their flag represents the sky, the white, and the steppe, the green, but also the burning humiliation of Trianon in the red, it all comes together to signify that their country is bleak and there is no hope in it.
But Slovakia, what are they fucking known for? Being Northern Hungary, I guess? Or East Czechia? Is that your role in the world? Being a part of other country? That's not an achievement. Everyone can be a part. It's easy to be a part. You don't have to do anything.
So what did your country decide to put on their flag to show the entire world what Slovakia is all about? A Hungarian cross. A FUCKING HUNGARIAN CROSS. You decided that you like to be the Northern Hungary so damn much that you might as well put their fucking cross on your flag. You don't even respect your own country so why the hell should I?

Oscypek is smoked cheese made from sheep's or sometimes goat's milk. It comes in many shapes and sizes and it's salty as fuck, but pretty good with some cranberry jam.
Ciupaga is kind of a light axe, used as a walking stick in the mountains.

When I was in Bratislava, my tour guide told me about a wonderful tradition they have in Slovakia. On Easter Monday, it is customary for the men to soak the women with water and to hit them with sticks. In smaller towns, they don't just pour water over the women, but actually throw them into the river. They do this to bestow health and beauty upon them, or something like that. Then, to thank the men for giving them such a gift, the women go round and give money and/or alcohol to the men. It's a really beautiful tradition desu. Apparently they do it in some of the other Slavic countries too.
