42% of Canadians aged 20-29 now live with their parents, a new record high and a huge increase from when that figure was 27% back in 1981. Even still, the figures differ a lot from province to province. Over 50% of all young adults (20-29) in Ontario live with their parents, for example, compared with figures of 31% and 30% in Alberta and Saskatchewan respectively.
