start frequenting social events. play a sport, take a class thats open to anyone where you think there will be girls like a cooking class, attend events that are related to your interests and hang out in the more social areas of those events. meet girls through other people. you can even make guy friends and meet girls through them. you can meet girls through other fat girls that you know. theres loads of things you can do to increase your chances of meeting a qt girl that youre interested in

ive given it a few shots and the most recent one hurt the most. the other girls i didn't really have any real friendship with before i tried to chat them up.
tried to get with a qt that i knew for awhile who actually gave me indications that she was interested, then i kind of got nervous and didnt make a move, then i made a move when she had already lost any interest, then i hung out with her and she made it pretty obvious that she doesn't like me that much. i was kind of destroyed by it for a few days honestly. i even woke up in the middle of the night crying two nights after i realized she didnt like me. it was the closest i ever got to tfw gf though, i think im getting closer. i feel like andy murray after he lost his first wimbledon final.
