Do you feel attracted to them before you go out with them? Or do you go out with them and then feel attracted? Asking because haven't really been attached to anyone yet.
>>
>>60652932
That works differently for everyone. In my case, I saw a girl that I liked and just approached her and started talking. 4 years later and we're still together.

But man, I've been in places where I've girls throwing themselves at me. There are some that are Extremely easy, trick is to go out and find them.
>>

Nah, I've had that. Don't really care for it unless they're absolutely amazing. Just want to find a nice waifu-tier girl that makes me doki doki. I've heard that there's a weird heart feeling when you look at someone you fancy. I've had a decent amount of contact with women so it's just a matter of time I guess.

I met Alan Kelly in Dunnes yesterday
As a fan, I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a gobshite and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, "Oh, how are you're doing now?" I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and clapping his hands in front of my face. Confused and insulted, I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chortle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw Kelly trying to walk out the doors with like half a dozen 2 litre bottles of water in his arms without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter reluctantly with a massive scowl on his face. It was quite the spectacle

*trigger warning*-muh heritage shit ahead

Can someone explain Irish surnames to me and how they work? Specifically Norman ones?

I took a tour of Kilkeny today and the tour guide made a big deal about how I had a Norman surname and that there was a large population of Burke's still there and perhaps I was related to them.

Thing is I know peasants often took the surname of local land owners, but he said in Ireland it works differently and that I could be a descendant of William De Burgh.
I have a germanic y dna subclade, so it would make sense that my direct paternal ancestor was a Norman like De Burgh but does that mean that all Burke's descend from him? It seems like way too much to be possible.
>>
>>60661443
in ireland it was basically
-youre a member of a clan
-you need to show loyalty to the leader of the clan
-to do so you take the leader of the clan's surname
therefore they do not necessarily have direct male ancestry to de burgh.
normans adopted gaelic culture after 5 minutes so that doesnt matter either.
>>
>>60661595
The tour guide told me that this was a tradition among local celts and that Mc or Mac meant you were part of a clan and O' meant you were a descendant. I didnt know it was the same for Normans though
>>
>>60661924
well im not an expert tb h but thats how i imagine it works. that is generally how clans work.
>>
>>60661924
Mac is son in Irish, and in a name it means 'Son of X'
Ó means from, and in a name it means 'From X'
>>
>>60662073
You think he mixed them up?(He was a Breton irish muh heritage fag so he could have)
>>
>>60662164
I'm not well versed in the history of the language and surnames, just going of my logic.

The way I see it, Mac would given to the Son, and Ó to his son. Of course I could be completely wrong.
>>
>>60661443
going by the information youve given its highly likely youre a descendant of the best burkes
>>
>>60663074
Who are the other Burkes?

>>60663208

>>
>>60663267

He says goodbye to /éire/ with what best can be described as emotion. He doesn't feel much, yet he finds himself in miss of the banter and the overall aura of feeling superior to sad faggots, failed animators, queers repeating the LC and shit-eating mechanics.

He knows he must go. He has more important things in his life. His time on /int/ was ephemeral, transient if you will. It was an enjoyable deviation from his life of success. He has never been anything but a success, but 4chan made helped him feel what the masses feel. He was here as an experiment, trying to feel out new ways to control people for his upcoming domination of European politics.

He sits inside his palatial home, after a hard day's work, and surveys the land. He looks at the political landscape. Everything. No stone is left unturned.

With a cold heart, he says goodbye: goodbye to all the losers and sad cunts. The words coming from his mouth mesmerise even his fiercest critics. They're moved to tears. Ellen drops his animation portfolio, realising he will never craft anything as beautiful as Howth's words or even pass his shit little FAS FETAC course. Juniper will always be mentally deficient and will cling onto sanity through alcohol. Tommy will always act the hard man even though he is a shaft-gripping, shit-devouring aberration. Tsukihi will fall short of his goal of becoming a doctor and become a lowly pharmacist, all the while dreaming and cogitating on what could have been. Laois still won'tt fight me. Jaggy will come out to his left-wing mother that brainwashed him and she will accept him for being a pansy. AA will finally live vicariously through ponies and other cartoon shit and will forever be a slave to his sister, who beats him.

Those are all individual experiences, but one overall experience they will all have is this: they will all know HOWTH was right, that he truly knew the future. They will know how intelligent he was and admire his foresight.

Bye

Tá súil agam nach bhfuil tú ag mothú faoí bhrú, a chara. Déan do dhícheall cinnte, ach ná cuir an-iomarca struis ort féin. Suigh síos, déan cupla ceist ón scrúidpháipear, agus nuair a faigheann tú braon de, tóg brise béag (oibríonn aclaíocht níos fearr ná aon rúd) agus nuair ata meon níos fearr ort, lean ar aghaidh.

Bhí mé fucked muna tháinig Bishop agus Cultural Context suas. Is dochaí gur gambler mé sa saol, ach bhí an t-adh liom arís. Bhí P1 go híontach isteach is amach. Is brea liom ag scríobh scéal. Bhí díoma orm nar tháinig symbolism suas le haghaidh Gatsby, ach bhí an ceist fós grand.

Tá. Is as scoil lan-Ghaeilge mé. D'athraigh mé ó bhunscoil Bearla chuig mhéanscoil Gaeilge, agus bhí orm foghlaim conas Gaeilge a fhoghlaim. Seachas an tuiseal ginideach, tá sé sa mala agam.
>>
>>60671816
An iar-scolaire Gaeilge thú? No ar stáidear tú go neamhspleach?

Conas a rinne tú do stáidear Gaeilge? An raibh tú i d'aonair no an raibh daoine ag labhairt leat? Ceapaim go bhfuil gnath labhairt an bealach is fearr chun aon teanha a fhoghlaim.
