During the impeachment process she appointed literal retards that knew nothing about the ministry they were getting, but had a couple of votes in parliament. Also, her economic policies caused inflation and so on and so forth. The media coverage of all of that was terrible, so you don't get to know all of this.

The goverment took over most of the farms and over the food factories. They broke most of them.
Then they made it so only the goverment could exchange local currency for dollars, so they are the only ones able to import food.
Then they cut the imports.
So you got two types of products,ones that are absurdly overpriced because they sort of smuggled with black market currency, and the ones that has its price controlled like pic related are scarce. To get the former you need to do long ass lines all day long, and you might get nothing. Thats why people are rioting right now.
