The most ebin was the battle of Suomussalmi. Soviets have had 5 times more troops than Finns, 100 tanks (finns had none), 4 times more artillery pieces, but still lost and got 27500 soldiers killed, while Finland lost only 350 (mostly non-combat).

Soviets had lack of warm clothes, fuel, ammo, food and adequate command staff. Hundreds of tanks and other vehicles are useless when you have no fuel and ammunition for them, soldiers can't fight when they're frozen, hungry and have one clip per three of them.
