What's it like living in Arizona?

An ancient civilization lived and died here, so this picture couldn't be any more true.
We basically don't go outside half the year. When you do it is like that feeling when you open an oven door, although after being in extremely cold A/C for a good while it's quite invigorating.
There's Mexicans around, and Mexican food joints. Many places and things have Spanish names.
Remarkably you can drive for an hour or two and end up in a forest where it's much cooler, and snows in the winter, so if you're an outdoorsy type it's not too bad I guess. There's little else to do though other than mediocre city life.
