We don't?
>>
>>60167240
some accents do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwW3kmsSH8k&ab_channel=PronounceNames

I think they might have gotten it through Greek influence on Latin but that's just a hunch.
>>
>>60167444
I heard some retarded story that they had a king who spoke with a lisp, so everyone started speaking with a lisp as a sign of reverence
>>
>>60167596
lolwut

>>60166725
only in certain places

What's your point you Calabrian sausagefest enthusiast
>>
>>60167757
You have a fucking leaf on your flag

I like these little stories but reality tends to be exceptionally boring.

Why not?

There's only lisp on the green part
>>
>>60167886
They call "lisp" not pronouncing "c" and "z" like "s".
>>
>>60167886
everything except light blue is considered lisp for them
>>
>>60166725
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAJ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLL4BqkdzNo

we don't say "Pendejo, wey , mi carro" and other words from mexico, friendo
>>
>>60167975
>>60168025
The fuck?
>>
>>60167886
this:>>60167975

The theta sound. Even though some people only use it occasionally.

Can you Spanish identify where someone comes from from their accent? Like Canarias or Venezuela or Uruguay?
>>
>>60167784
And your flag represents Muslim infested cheese-breathed cucks
Doesn't make a Spaniards less mentally disabled
>>
>>60166725

English calls "lisp" to both, "ceceo" and "seseo", so your claim is meaningless till you tell us what do you mean.
>>
>>60168148
I can't, but I think some people do.
>>
>>60168182
you are a peruvian living in Canada amigo
>>
English has a -th sound in most sentences. I don't see the big deal. The Spaniards only have a "lisp" before certain vowels.
>>
>>60168199
What we call seseo is what they call not talking with a lisp.
>>
>>60168148
maybe big regions
we can tell the difference between a mexican a venezuelan and an argentinian but probably not between a colombian and a venezuelan
>>
Tell me, how do you pronounce think?
>>
>>60168321
tink :^)

I can't pronounce TH sounds.
>>
>>60166814
>>60167596
>>60166725
Fucking retards. It's the pronunciation of the language, not a speech impediment. A lisp is when you're unable to pronounce the S sound and is pronounced as th in English.
>>
>let me tell you how you should pronounce your language
>>
>>60168242
>Amigo
It's amico in Italian you faggot
Note the fucking c
Stop bastardizing
>>
>>60168358

Then, you have a lisp.
>>
>>60168419
Spanish comes from latin, not Italian. Faggot
>>
>>60169121
Latin was closer to Italian. That's my point. Italian is the only true romance language. All the differences between Spanish and Italian are illiterate spaniards' mistakes.

No need to be so aggressive. The king with a lisp is a common folk story here, unbustle your britches
>>
Why do anglos speak with a lisp?

Think, thatcher, throughball, thaw, theater
>>
>>60173682
I wonder how sudacas pronounce think. Sink or dink?
>>
>>60173682
I get what you're trying to say but there is a real difference between the English Th and your lisping.

Everyone who is an outside listener from neither Spain nor and Anglo country will tell you this.
>>
>>60170345
The phonetic switch in Spain happened in the 17th century. Quixote for example was pronounced as Quishote and we had the french dj and italian zz sounds. We had six sounds and simplified it by having three: s sound, th sound and the spanish j (kh?).
>>
>>60173991
Caza and casa sound totally different while latinos pronounce them exactly the same. AFAIK our /s/ is the same as in english and our z is almost the same as the english th.
>>
>>60174255
>and our z is almost the same as the english th.
Exactly, they're almost the same, the difference being one sounds like a lisp to neutral listeners and the other doesn't. I'm not even trying to insult your language but this is the truth.
>>
>>60173682
"Lisp" doesn't mean what you think it means.
>>
>>60174390
casa and caza sound totally different, the fuck are you talkinng about? /s/ vs /θ/
>>
>>60174805
God, you're retarded.
Read >>60174255 and >>60174390 again, please.
>>
Because they are gay.
>>
>>60173974
like think, btw, you do a weird sound when you pronounce the "s", is not only the "z" pronunciation
>>
>>60175144
According to the phonetic diagrams our s is exactly the same sound as the english one so I guess it's because of our accent.
>>
>>60175080
This
>>
>>60174764
It's the other way around.

Everyone outside of Spain will tell you that you lisp, even people who aren't Anglo, but for some reason everyone else in the world is wrong and you are right. It doesn't matter what you decide to call it.

For example if everyone who visited Portugal told me our language is ugly I still wouldn't find it ugly but I would be forced to agree with them, it really must sound ugly to everyone else.

Perhaps you can't hear it, but everyone else outside of Spain hears your sound as definitely being a lisp

>>60174805
Your /θ/ is a lisp and the English /θ/ is not.

Also lets talk in our languages since it's easier
>>
>>60173974

"Tinc".

I hate that idgaf "latino" accent. Bitches like Sofía Vergara who don't make the slightless effort to make the correct sounds. It's so obvious that she makes that stupid accent on purpose.

https://youtu.be/D9rnl6Yr3yY

I hate that fucking costeña scum.
>>
>>60175282
you whistle a little bit, most people leave the tip of the tongue touching below the lower teeth, while when you pronounce the "s" it sounds like if the tongue was floating around the space between the upper and lower teeth, making a slight whistle sound
>>
>>60175494
Since when the lisp has a whistle? I thought it was just ceceo like the one some andalusians have, can anyone post an english speaker lisping? Maybe I don't know
>>
>>60175485
Why should she quit what gives her jobs? Americans just want to hear her thick spanish accent.
>>
>>60175466
What? I think you misunderstood my post. I know we speak with what anglos call a lisp. But lisp isn't just using the sound "th" like the post I mentioned implied. The words he wrote can't even be pronounced with a lisp.
>>
>>60175607
Idk man, you tell me
>>
>>60175712
Idk about that since I don't really speak Spanish that well, but it's not just Anglos, we don't know exactly what that weird sound is but it is considered a clear lisp here too, and by the looks of it, in many other countries as well.

It's weird that you can't hear it.
>>
>>60175966
Do you mean the /th/ pronounciation of z and ce/ci? Because that's why they say we talk with a lisp.
>>
>>60176093
That's probably it, yeah. But again, it's not just they, we hear it as a lisp too, as I'm sure you hear things about our language that we can't recognize as being so.

Spain forgot they kept all their balls in Gibraltar before giving it away to Britain so Spaniards all talk like nutless faggots.

Better to lose a war against england that to lose against a bunch of vietnamese farmers, dont you think?
