They are, and I've been there several times (I'm Iranian), but my handful of friends are here in the U.S., the majority of my family resides within the US or Canada these days. For the first time in years I haven't felt alone recently, and it'd be going back to that for at least the first few years there. The current Iranian State has managed to exist in spite of this fact, a project which has been proven, at least dozens of times to be entirely unsustainable.
