To be honest with you, if we include Gaza in the equation things turn towards less decency. Since hamas has a strong foothold there with strong militias backed by somewhat popular support. So, they pose a danger in the equation of forming our future. But if Gaza somehow drops its political Islamic ideologies and parties and we start having a real democracy process then maybe yes. We won't be near as developed as Israel but we would be better than our neighbors. And let me put the Palestinians aside in this case since for the sake of the argument with the exception of radicals Palestinians do want a state in 1967 borders. Now back to Israel, if Israel do claim that it wants peaceful two state solution, then why the fuck are they changing the demographics in the WB to irreversible levels with settlers posed to become 35% of the population in just a few years and near 40% in a decade or so? I mean nothing says "we want you to have a state if you behave" like rapid land grabbing and more population in the land you claim you will give back! And in case Israel intends on annexing the WB then why the fuck are they keeping the population under such restrictions and loss of hope about their future leading to more enmity between the people and radicalization? So in both cases Israel isn't doing what is supposed to do to reach a solution, not in two state solution, nor in one state solution! And since you are the real controlling power on the two peoples, you get the bigger share of the blame when it comes to reaching peace. It is easy, if you want two state, stop building settlements, it you want one state, start building bridges.
