Who is your country's best documentary maker?
I like Louis Theroux because I don't care about nature
I like your mom because I care about that ASS LOL
>mfw all his recent documentaries
They're amazing but so fucking depressing. Genuinely had a cry during Drinking to Oblivion and Edge of Life.

Fantastic German humor once again

His recent BBC Two specials and the LA Stories series are especially god tier.

The subjects of the When Louis Met series are probably a bit niche for someone outside the UK, with the notable exception of Jimmy Saville. He was outed as a serial paedophile about a decade later which makes the documentary quite eery to watch.

IMO you should watch America's Most Hated Family, it's about the Westboro Baptist Church. Louis is very good at bringing out the vulnerability in people who build up walls tot the outside world
This meme guy
This guy. He's a traveler, mostly enjoy South and Central America plus "the real USA" (he has some land in Arizona). He makes videos mostlyabout primitive people- Amazonian Indians, Bushmen etc but also about regular people. Great stuff, I can't even find any foreign documentarist who shows in depth life in Indians villages like he does.
I mean, obviously
