I'm for laxer gun laws in the Netherlands, but the second amendement is straight out retarded.
Mentally unstable people shouldn't be allowed to have guns, there should be thorough mental researching before anyone is allowed to have the gun, with annual checkups.
People should be properly taught how to handle a firearm, and in which situations you have to draw it. People under 25 and over 65 shouldn't be allowed to carry arms, but people between 18-25 should be allowed to own them (just not carry them in public, and over 65's shouldn't even be allowed to own them).
When someone get's medicine perscribed, because he is suicidal or something, he should immediatly have his firearms taken away from him.
People with any criminal record at all shouldn't be allowed to carry firearms ever again in their lives.
Probably forgetting some stuff right now, but if you follow strict laws like these, regular people will be allowed to bear arms and the retards and mongs who shoot up schools wouldn't.
