Sea-Tac isn't even that bad in terms of metro areas. It's much cleaner and more safe than other metro areas in the USA.

Best state for me is Colorado but the best state objectively is California. But most of my metrics are economically based; I know a lot of people on 4chan hate California. I don't really care for the state socially or politically, but got damn is it amazing for the economy.

As long as you don't live in one of the meme cities or the ghetto it's awesome. I used to live in a little town of about 100k on the outskirts of San Diego, best place I've ever lived. Great people, great food, great weather, always fun stuff to do. You're only an hour or two from LA so you have access to a lot of big events and concerts, 10~15 minutes from the beach, ~45 minutes to the mountains for snow and shit.
Only downside is it only rains about once every 10 years, and half the state burns down halfway between rains. It's fun sitting on the bleachers in school and watching 3 different wildfires burning nearby hillsides.
