Nah, 21vs21 has more people so you can form several ranks, frontline men with swords, second rank with halberds.
If anything, in 5vs5 even the swords don't mean as much as people can just kick or shield rush each other down like the Russians do.

There are medieval reports of knights fighting in armor and most fights would end when you pass out from heat, and they would often pass out from heat even when it is snowing outside, and they fought outside.
Duels were fought pretty much like this, while fighting on the battlefield was done with special spiked hammer-like weapons, and it was done in 2 steps: first step is to get opponent to fall on the ground and second step was to call a friendly knight with a giant spiky hammer to bash him with a single top-down strike to the chest.

No.
Reenactment societies are trying to do it, but it's extremely hard to know, as the behaviour and mindset are completely different. Reenacters are volunteers and do that for fun. Peasants forced into the infantry were not. Reenacters are much more protected, know that the ennemies won't try to kill them and will stop once they're on the ground, and that even in case of accidents, they won't die from it because of competent modern medicine, surgery and general healthcare. Peasants and knights didn't have all that.

Most knights wore bright colors and had their names engraved in gold and steel across their helmets, because it is insanely stupid to kill a knight when you can just ransom his ass to his rich family. And also, thanks to their incredibly good armors, it was very hard to kill knights.
Peasants were used to soften cavalry charges and bolts/arrows and they mostly died, but if we are talking knights and duels, this isnt extremely unhistoric.

In any kind of fight you typically only have a short time to act before you get fatigued. Even boxing rounds last only a few minutes.
Medieval warfare had the advantage of fairly slow battles though- you had time to catch your breath between fighting an enemy unit and having to fight another because orders had to be relayed by a messenger and troops walked or, in the case of cavalry, galloped most of the time.
Then came shit like horse archers who #REKT medieval Europe's armies that fought in this fairly inflexible manner.

Commanding was done with flags, flags were lifted up and certain troops had to march, and there were also people who carried flags and entire unit had to stay nearby to the guy who is carrying a flag, they were something like a orientation point.
Also mounted archers were not as good as most people think. Mongol generals were extremely smart, for example they never knew about catapults, but as soon as they marched into Europe they not only learned how to build them, but they were the first in history to use them against infantry.
They also threw cows and severed heads to scare people shitless and spread tons of diseases before marching into towns.

Standard bearers were one thing, but messengers were also very important and remained so until WW1(after which electronic messages started to take over). Also I should have specified "walking at march speed" from "charging". A properly conditioned soldier can march prolonged distances at ease, but a charge has to be done at close distance or you'll wear out your soldiers before they reach the enemy.
And yeah, Mongol generals were smart as fuck, which is why they were able to employ their forces in ways that ensured victory in the first place. I know horse archers aren't that useful outside flat ground, but does that even matter when your generals usually manage to lure the enemy onto flat ground anyway?

From what I found, they had troubles killing Euro knights because of intense metal armor, and they only had bows which were small, you cant put a big heavy draw weight bow on a horse.
So what they did is a "golden bridge" tactic, where you attack enemy army really hard, and leave them just one place to safely run away, and people did use this safe place to run away thinking enemy forgot about it, and running away was usually done with throwing away your weapons and shield and even armor sometimes.
After this happened, Mongol general sent his light horsed troops to simply pick off very tired and unarmed troops, and he did a lot of this tactic, and he was also insanely smart and was first to develop an anti infantry artillery by using mechanical weapons to throw giant rocks at enemy, for some reason no one else thought of this before. He is also first to use large scale bio weapons (cow corpses) too.
So all in all Mongol victories were much more thanks to the really smart general than just horsed archers. He invented tons of new weapons and things to do war.
