I've been found recently that first original ideology of fascism is actually different to Hilter's ideas. He's kinda ruined it absolutely.

My understanding of fascism is that it was a very unique phenomenon in history and was flexible in what it allowed but there were some key points:
- militarisation
- protectionism
- a strong state that protects big businesses
- aestheticism
- increased surveillance and no freedom of opinion
- harsh punishments for dissenters and criminals
- requires an (often imagined) external threat to rally against to sustain momentum

Well, I see people calling the Nazist Germany fascist but... Fascism is a unified will of a country, there is no differing opinion, no need for democracy. Yet, the nazi party was socialist democratic; they look like, but they are not fascists.
Now, Russian friend, what do you think of fascism? I studied history in the college and would be nice to hear from someone of a distant culture.
