I'm an American and I vacation there every year. It's always a good experience. Never too crowded with tourists so it's kind of like Europe's best-kept secret. The people are incredibly friendly, the culture is vibrant and alive and doesn't feel like some museum piece being put on for show for tourists like in some other European countries, everything is dirt cheap, the women are beautiful, etc. They also make Germans endlessly buttmad on 4chan for some reason and I appreciate that.
