Don't know if they can be eaten raw but you put them in a pan of some sort and stick it over a campfire until the shells pop open and you have these awesome sweet and steamed meat to much on.

Anyways, back when I was in the 9th grade, my stepfather was in the army, so I lived on-post in Heidelberg, Germany. My class went on a walking field trip, getting on the bus over by Mark Twain Village (the barracks where the American school was) and then we walked up der Philosophenweg (Philosopher's Way). Near the top, there's an entire field of stinging horse nettle if you want to be able to access the old 12th century monastery ruins and Nazi amphitheater, with about a three feet-wide (about 1 meter) dirt path leading through it. Anyways, one of my classmates ran up the adjacent hillside ahead of everyone and was the first to reach the field, and he tried to trip another classmate who then pushed him.
Since he had tried to dodge the push by turning around with his back facing the guy that pushed him, that only gave him extra momentum, and he did what can only be described as a one-man body slam face-first into the field of stinging horsenettle.
It was a fun day.

If you're going to make a chart about the glorious imperial system, at lease get all the units right
Here's how it goes:
12 inches in a foot
3 feet in a yard
22 yards in a chain
10 chains in a furlong
8 furlongs in a mile
3.4523383440706278 miles in a league :^)
Educate yourselves, fools
>>
>>58851921
Based and cultured spanish explorers kept the designated names for what theyfound, like Tomato. Potato. Chocolate. Meanwhile English plebs were like IT'S AN APPLE WITH PINES, A PINEAPPLE
>>
>>58852065
"Columbus encountered the pineapple in 1493 on the leeward island of Guadeloupe. He called it piña de Indes, meaning "pine of the Indians", and brought it back with him to Spain, thus making the pineapple the first bromeliad to be introduced by humans outside of the New World."

In Spanish they're piñas and no one in their sane mind would call them ananás. In fact, I would bet no more than 5 out of 100 people would even know what an ananás is.

Those differences make a language beautiful. Do the same chart comparing the word 'blue' in different languages and you might find out something.

Mighty factories seem to hum a tune, so grand.
Beautiful Ohio, thy wonders are in view,

Our way of saying the date is literally just a numerical representation of how you would say it.
May 4, 2016 = 5/4/16

The imperial system is retarded, I give you that.
And I understand the other way too, it makes sense to me. I just don't see what's wrong with the way we do it.
