About the wine: most famously it is the birthplace of pinot grigio. But that shit is for pussies. What you really want are Nebbiolo varietals (IE wines made with Nebbiolo grapes) especially Barolo. Barolo is simply the shit. It's full, deep, deliciously complex with an incredible finish. Simply the best wine to pair with steak.

I grew up there, born in a hospital at Treviso and spent the childhood in San Doná di Piave.
It was good times, the community was so tight knit.
