So how common are electrocutions thanks to those.
>>
I've seen that kind of thing in Thailand too. No problems.
>>
>>58788375
It's used in many places worldwide. But I wouldn't advise using anything but Brazilian made showers. Almost 100 years of experience.
>>
>>58788434
Never heard of anything happening here in Brazil. There are strict legislation regarding their quality. even if you fuck up something chances are nothing will happen with you.
>>
>>58788468
does the water heat up instantly and is it adjustable?
>>
>>58788375
i saw one in murrica, here aren't popular
>>
>perfectly isolated cables
>LOL ELECTROCUTION
>>
>>58788497
Well then it is fine. I just thought all those exposed wires looked pretty sketch.
>>
>>58788375
What the fuck is that thing?
An upside down water sprinkler?

those exposed cables make me nervous
could the coils be moved farther away from the head? and perhaps not be near of contacting the water stream?
now, seriously, are these safe?

Here is mine in Thailand, gave me nice warm shower (shag) everyday.
>>
>>58788508
Yes to both.
>>58788535
They do look lame, but nothing will happen, unless you are a complete retard. Most people have proper installations.
>>58788594
Strict legislation regarding the quality of the product not how they are installed.
>>58788543
You would be surprised.

Oh god

>>58788375
why do all of them look so DIY?
I thought OPs pic was of a shoddy one, but in YouTube and Google images they all have exposed cables
>>
>>58788375
My shower is similar.

I've never heard of a electrocution here
>>
>>58788532
I heard it generally isn't earthed properly
>>
>>58788678
You probably heard that we also dance naked in the streets 24/7. Doesn't make it true.
>>
>>58788416
You forgot us, fagget.

Nice flag colors btw.
>>
>>58788676
All of them are DIY, I'm just happy I only got one that caught fire. Too bad those things break down every 6 months.

Hue here;
I've never heard of anybody having problems with it or get electrocuted.

can't you replace the resistance on your own?
>>
>>58788794
We have those, but they cost about 1/3 or 2/3 of the minimum wage to buy and install.
>>
>>58788864
yeah but aren't there fucking middle class and rich people in our cunts as well?
they might be more attracted to these if they didn't look like a Silent Hill prop

It' seems pretty dangerous. Southern Americans don't want to live old?

It's not disinfo, it's the truth.
>>
>>58788987
Hum-hm. Look at the OP's pic and tell me that you would take a shower with this.
>>
>>58789016
but what about the rich? you could probably cater to them if the device looked nicer and was not made of cheap plastic
>>
>>58789093
>but what about the rich? you could probably cater to them if the device looked nicer and was not made of cheap plastic
Oh those exist here, I'm just saying that 90% of the houses will have a cheap plastic one.
>>
>>58789174
now i'm interested, have any brand names of the fancier ones?
>>
Brazilian here

Most houses have those. I've used electric, solar and gas heated. Electric heat the water faster compared to the others but there is really no difference in the end as long as there is decent water pressure.

Some house here have a water box so there is little water pressure on shower and that can make things really shitty.

>>

Nope, I was never that interested in fancy showers because I have better investments to do.
>>
>>58789521
Just a standard Brazil shower for you m8?
>>
>>58788375
It's not a shower for Brazil
It's a shoah for Brahil
>>
If that pos blew a gasket where it meets the incoming water pipe it would shoot water everywhere and make the risk of electric shock pretty high.
>>
>>58789723

I now see how people turn brown in south america, they caramelize themselves under the sun after bathing in sugary drinks
>>
what do they do?
>>
>>58789878
they heat water by electrical resistance
>>
>>58789723
Pretty much, they don't warm the water very well but I'm happy this one is over a year old and still works.
>>
>>58789995
why don't you use a black containers as reservoirs on your rooftops instead?

>free warm water
>>
>>58790009
>over a year old and still works
its surprising that the product you use dont break after a year?
>>
>>58788434
You are clueless about electricity 2bh
Movies really blow the danger about water and electricity out of proportion.

>>

Black absorbs more wavelengths of light so it gets hot

Electric devices that are expected to be close to water have safety features installed on them to prevent electrocution. Just look at any blow-dryer.

>>
>>58791041
I feel bad tho. Those people probably don't have access to simple things like fucking guaraná. And here I am, wasting the good education I received to shitpost. Shame I don't live in the US, otherwise I would've bought a gun and killed myself a long time ago.

other than the green ground wire, do these try to ground through the house plumbing system? in the U.S. at least thats all tied to a GIANT grounding rod to help with lightining strikes... granted I suspect most latin american countries don't bother, but regardless, wouldn't grounding the showerhead through the metal water pipe work fairly well?
>>
>>58794725
They do bother to ground what is necessary since there are more thunder storms in Brazil than anywhere else in the world
