It's big. Every man is expected to work out.
>Are you part of it?
Yeah.

I know I'm lazy haha, gotta hit the gym more
Gyms are dumb.
You can do all that shit at home with a minimum amount of equipment.

Some people need some motivation such as not letting their money go to waste to get off the couch

This, you can get a budget home gym setup for under 500 bucks and a legit full home gym for a few grand
>>58789992
That reminds, I need to cancel my gym subscription. I'm just wasting 15 bucks a month on it.
Flat bench, dumbells and barbells is all you need to get a ripped upper body

You need a squat rack or you're legs will look like sticks in comparison to your upper body
>>58790018
I dunno, probably.
I'm very judgmental and I don't want other people to judge me the same way I judge them, basically. I know it's dumb, but I just can't help but notice every little detail about people I come into contact with. The thought of them doing the same to me scares me.
Some examples.
>"He's done already? Weak."
>"Why are you running so slowly? I can walk faster than that."
>"Stop gasping for air like that, it's annoying."
I used to run to keep myself in shape, but I always ran in forests or very late in the evenings, so I would meet less people.

>2. How big is gym culture where you live?
Not too big, currently growing
>3. Are you part of it?
I wanted to, but the gym I wanted to sign in doesn't approve monthly fee unless you have enough credit in a credit card or checks, even student plans demanded me to have around 500 bucks disponible on my credit card.
>go to gym
>instructors are a bunch of gains goblins pass a bunch of machine exercises
>guys too hot , sexual frustration goes to the roof
>no gym buddy
I fucking hate it.

There's a bit of an epidemic here of gym-culture people abusing pre-workout drugs and roids leading to major health issues at early ages. It's pretty retarded the lengths people go to just to look like OP's pic even though they'll die at 30.
I prefer to exercise on my own, riding a bike and callisthenics is enough to keep me in shape but I understand why some people prefer having a gym membership to keep fit.
>>58787779
I have 4 gyms with free weights within 1 mile (1.6km). I just recently started going again after a few years of not. I was 6'2"/185cm, weighing 182lbs at about 10% bodyfat at my peak. I am about 210 now, down from 230 a month ago. Am i a part of it yet? I can't really answer that question.
>>58792717
Lmao if you're not on DMAA are you even trying though
Cardio pussy
>>58792717
Lift heavy three days a week to increase bone density, to increase ligament and tendon strength. It will make your 50's and beyond much, much better. You cannot get this from cardio/calisthenics alone.
