When I get my Turkish visa, I am moving to Ankara to attend the prestigious Turkish Military Academy to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become a Janissary for Erdoğan's military or a vintage Kebaberie chef!
I own several fezzes, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Turkey, so I can fit in easier. I bow to Allah five times a day and speak Turkish as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.

Old Ottoman Istanbul (Fatih, Beyoglu, Uskudar) is amazing, but the city has been very badly administered. Too bad the city blew up in the 20th century. Now there is a lot of bad urban sprawl and miscalculated projects all over the city that have really taken the majesty out of Istanbul.
