That's the reason why MENA general is so high quality. Out of Europe it's a trait of educated person to speak English. So the average Russian on 4chan is way more educated and civilized person than average Russian. Rus general is mostly liberal while Russia itself is a retarded 2nd (or even 3rd in some regions) country with poorfags and uneducated people who hates Europe, West, loves Stalin etc.

I am at a train station awaiting for a train to bring me to the meeting of relatives. Shit, I don't want to go. I hate my relatives:
Dad's best friend, old fat gypsy-looking guy who would brag about his ""business"" (he owns smal tobacco shop)
Alcoholic uncle, his fat wife and son (ultrapatriot cameraman at local TV). Uncle was a local gopnik leader in this town in 80s and gonna talk about it again.
Another uncle who is literal poltard: religious radical who was excluded from seminary, old Dugin fan, gonna tell me about Jews, reptiloids and that he wants gays to be hanged.
Fuuuuck.
I gonna get drunk to take this shit.

So I'm in the process of learning Russian at the moment, pretty basic at the moment. I'm just doing as much Duolingo as I get time for and watching some YouTube learning videos and taking notes. So far I've got the alphabet 80% learnt but still working on learning phrases and pronunciation.

Could you guys maybe suggest some interesting videos that use simple Russian language and have English subtitles? Maybe even some children's cartoons or something just so I can get used to hearing the language?

Any tips at all for learning the language would help, this is my first time learning a language other than English and it's pretty enjoyable so far (haven't even skimmed the surface either).

http://www.tvn24.pl/magazyn-tvn24/suma-wszystkich-strachow-putina-jego-grafik-nie-klamie,37,859

Putin did not go abroad. Working visit in Minsk on February 25 is the exception that proves the rule, after all allied Belarus is almost like at home.
He practices for a very active telephone diplomacy. One such regular contacts accompanied by the adoption of the Western representatives in Moscow.

Current self-isolation of Putin's is conspicuous especially that in the 2000-2014 period, and therefore between taking the rule of the Kremlin and the annexation of the Crimea and russian aggression in Donbas, Putin made more than 200 different-level visits in different countries.

Some Russian commentators (eg. Olga Panfilov) point to the fact that Putin is behaving today as Lenin (he never left the country after taking governments) and Stalin. The latter did only two exceptions, leaving at conferences in Tehran (1943.) And Potsdam (1945). In both cases, however, were the countries partly occupied by the Soviets.

The reason for Putin to remain in the home is growing fear of a palace coup, and / or revolution in the country. The current Russian president certainly remembers what ended trip last president of the Soviet Union in August 1991. - And after all, Mikhail Gorbachev flew "only" to Crimea.

Recently, more and more often there are voices, and even lengthy analyzes which argue that Russia threatens the revolution and the collapse of Putin. Even if you are still just wishful thinking, and the regime is so strong that for the next year or two nothing to be afraid, it is the very fact recovery discussion on the fate of Putin testifies to the fact that is becoming increasingly common belief that power the current host of the Kremlin is not eternal, and may end sooner than many think.

A critical moment can be the year 2016. This year the Duma elections, while the dress rehearsal before the presidential election in 2018.

The key to maintaining power for putin will reign over the structures of force. Putin realizes that you never get the full loyalty of all services, and when it comes to a crisis situation, it could end up like Viktor Yanukovych. First, the siloviki would save themselves, rescue system, not Putin himself.

The President should also remember that too much reliance on "hard-liners" can be dangerous. He learned about Mikhail Gorbachev, who, in 1990. Began to withdraw from perestroika and the collapse of the USSR in the face of increasingly rely on the party "concrete" (Prime Minister Valentin Pavlov) and KGB (Chairman Vladimir Kryuchkov). As a result, he became a hostage to the putschists and then lost power.

Putin allows for the possibility that the crisis enters into a phase that can not be ruled out an armed coup attempts. Its initiator may not be the opposition, because the de facto in Russia today lack. They can only do people Featuring weapons and political and administrative capabilities, simply put: one belonging to the current ruling class.

Recently, in turn, the President of Russia made a step that Lubyanka can receive as an attack on the dominant position of the FSB security system in Russia. Putin's decree of April 5 rocked around the block a force. The creation of the National Guard was born consequences for almost all institutions. MSW lost their teeth and muscles in the form of approximately 200 thousand. soldiers of internal troops, police, special forces (SOBR), branches to be decommissioned street protests (OMON). In return, got numbering approx. 30 thousand. (FSKN) and similar size (FMS).

Putin struck - even if that was not the main purpose of the changes - the influence of potential competitors and critics, for the most part as he derived from Lubyanka. National Guard called not just to competition was the FSB. He knows well that war siloviki do not serve the regime, because they remember the war FSB of FSKN in 2007.

There's literally less than 50 000 people who speak Russian fluently in our whole country, you'd be lucky to come across one who fits our demographic. I'm in the same boat though, fascinated by the culture that seems to be such a hush topic in Western culture. Not to mention I just love the look of the Cyrillic alphabet and the way Russian sounds.

I suggest Duolingo to get the basics down, and practice as frequently as possible. Also for a more in-depth explanation of things watch and take notes from these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSPFB4D01Lk&list=PL62077C49F5A58BEE&index=1 videos, quite good in my opinion.

Other than that I have no idea, it's as far as I've managed to get, I need to put more effort in but that requires more time which I don't have at the moment.

Hope it helped anon.

In poland
Education and Healthcare are free for citizens.
Unemployment is low (~7%) but only because many poles emigrated to western countries and now they salaries are 4-5x bigger.
If you stay in poland you need to have two jobs to live on good level.
Poverty level is 12,8% (ppl who living for less than minimum salary, like 1200-1700PLN for 3ppl family)

Drugs like weed or hard drugs are banned.
You can go to jail for it. Abortion is banned too.
We have the lowest level of hiv and aids in europe.
We are one of the most monolitic society in the world.
98% of citizens are poles(white), 96% are roman catholic.
We have mostly flat terrain, but also we have mountains (on south), sea and beaches (on north) and lakes with beaches (in Wielkopolska and Mazury regions).
We have giant resource of coal, iron and salt.
We had also oil and uranium but "friends from east" in commie times pump out and digged out all and send to east.

Most of ppl living in cities in commieblocks.
Poland is in top5 the most safety countries for tourists in the world.
Public transport is cheap and eco friendly, bigger cities changed busses for this one with electric engines. (eco friendly and lower cost)
Streets and roads are clean.

Literally nobody wants EU here now. People tired about this war, about rising prices, etc. Our goverment is full of corruption and have done no reforms in this two years. Everyone dissapointed.
As for me, I have nothing against Russia, except of their brainless zealots who wants us to be conquered. It would be cool if our countries were just peacefull neighbors, but our goverments wants our people to hate each other and this is very sad. So I'm leaving this shithole in few years anyway.

Yeah, not many people in Australia speak Russian; so if Russia happens to pull their shit together economically and somehow Australia opens up trade relations or something with them it will be a huge advantage. Even if not it shows that you're pretty unique to an employer and might make finding jobs a bit easier.

Not to mention that you'll be able to travel all of Russia with ease and even use it as a bridging language between a lot of Eastern Europe if they don't speak English.

All in all I think it's a good investment with your time, especially if you're not doing much else with it

Just got to find the right hip hop, rare these days. Hip hop (to me at least) is more basic beats but better bars. Production on grime is just through the roof so the bars can be pretty average and the song still sounds good, but any good bars make the song amazing
