What do you think about asian languages
>>
japanese would be easy if japs used an alphabet

corean sounds like a dialect of japanese

chinese is strange and scary
>>
I want to know some rare ones like vietnamese or thai
>>
>>58313894
I don't understand them
>>
>>58313928
they already have 2 system of alphabets
>>
>>58313957
these are syllabaries
>>
>>58313957
>>
>>58313894
The only one that makes sense is Korean. I have a theory in which Korea will surpass Japan because of the capacity for typing in keyboards easily.
And I'm not even a koreaboo or whatever, more like the opposite, always liked japan stuff
>>
>>58313975
then alphabet will not make it easier
its purpose was to introduce standard pronunciation not easier transition
>>
>>58313894
>Japanese
>curvy, little cute symbols
>at at least two are kanji
>>
Just adopt the latin alphabet you cucks
>>
>>58314043
repurpose the system to be flexible and regular, like corean

here, japanese is suddenly palatable
>>
>>58313928
>japanese would be easy if japs used an alphabet
No it wouldn't

Korean don't using kanji.

China don't using hiragana.

Japanese is best.
>>
>>58314128
yes, it would.

It hasn't a strange way to make sentences
>>
>>58314084
it changes the languages due to ambiguity
>>
>>58314145
more is better, right?

right?
>>
stupid
only girls write like this
gross
>>
>>58313894
All of them sounds as "ching chong ding dong".
>>
>>58314196
Japanese actually use less chinese characters than Chinese
>>
>>58314211
Ukraine skii bitch ivan
>>
>>58314239

>>
Japanese is easy but Kanji are retarded
Korean is easy
Chinese is retarded
>>
>>58314384
those are case
>>58314384
the japanese ones used to be gender only
now they are used in different parts of speech

katakana only for names
>>
>>58314307

>Ukraine
That's proxy, Lao.
>>
Chinese writing is pretty retarded. Having a letter for each word is stupid.

Japanese is also pretty dumb: Three different writing systems? Why.jpg. Should just get rid of Chinese signs, major improvement and simplification.

Korean writing is pretty good, there is actually some logic involved.
>>
>>58314681
it has to do with ambiguity and changes how the sentence is made with contextual clues about what it isn't
>>
>>58313894
All of them are extremely different from all the Indo-European languages that I speak.
麻烦你来一杯啤酒。
>>
>>58314681
kanji is very informative letter.

more informative language is better than uninformative language.
>>
Ayy lmao
>>
Japanese:
My mother tongue.
Phonetic system is quite simple, but the writing is crazy. I think the Japanese should reform it.

Chinese:
My second foreign language.
I've learned two years, but there's so many characters can't read.
Tone system is convenient, but sometimes sounds ugly.

Korean:
Half of Chinese and Japanese

I like them(clear, no grammatical gender, articles etc.).
>>
새옹지마 塞翁是马 塞翁が馬

이하 부정관 李下不正冠 李下に冠を正さず

yes, Japanese language is more informative.
>>
>>58315123
tb h spacing words would just make everbody's life easier.
>>
>>58313894
Chinese kinda fascinates me the most, although Japanese is much easier to learn and it has so much interesting stuff on the internet. I wish I started learning Chinese when I was a kid, so that I could thereafter immigrate to China.

Cantonese and Tagalog sound like nails on a chalkboard.

This
Kanji is really retareded
>>
I think they're interesting and would've enjoyed learning them if they didn't require ridiculously large time investments to speak like a simpleton.
>>
>>58315321
Japanese is definitely a rather lyrical language.

The long drawn out maas in Chinese are fairly grating to me.
>>
>>58315531
yeah, kanji is difficult for kids brain.
>>
>>58315619
>lyrical

>>
>>58314032
I think the Japanese have their own system where they type in syllables and the computer automatically corrects it into kanji or something.
>>
I think Japanese is the better one to learn. The reason being it has its great classic literature influenced by European culture.
>>
>>58314032
you know typing Japanese easier than Korean.

because Korean language has more alphabet than Japanese.
>>
Chinese good language.
Japanese good language.
but Korean not good.

In terms of how they sound and ease of speaking Japanese wins hands down, korean next and Chinese last. Chinese when sung can and only sometimes sound beutiful but generally its an ugly and wierd sounding language. Japanese sounds like a romance language.

In terms of writing Korean is clearly the best, Japanese is broken but its too far past reform. Katakana script is imo ingeniois and having an official Kanji list is smart. Chinese is slightly better on the Hanzi because they have less meanings on average, however there are tonnes of them and there is no regulation, its honeslty a bit rediculous that native speakers can just not know words or have any idea.
>>
>>58313894
They are beautiful and I want to learn them.
>>
>>58319518
I think they seem over-complicated and I don't want to learn them.
>>
>>58313894
They take a LOT of effort to learn for Westerners, and for me the only one worth learning is Japanese.
>>
I bet this thread is going to get translated into Japanese on that website all-nationz and they'll only choose the comments that are positive about Japan
>>
I'm learning Japanese. It's fun. Korean sounds funny, Chinese sounds hard.
I think it'll be easy for me to learn Indonesian some day, and Thai seems cool too. Don't know much about the rest.
>>
Japanese is more "americanized" and easy to understand some words.
Korean is a bit weird and it's like impossible to pronounce anything.
Chinese is madness. WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A PORK BUN IN YOUR HAND?

Anyway, you guys are nuts. Why not a regional-universal-language (but still asian)?

Yeah, the Taiwanese were already adopting Japanese names and practiced Japanese native religion (Shinto).

America, in their wise understanding of international affairs, thought Taiwan would be better under Chinese control.
Of course, it wasn't because things like the '288 Incident' and the 'White Terror' happened.
